Oh Yuchhhh...yup knew it was going to happen but really hoped it was going to be in the 300's to prevent this kind of start to the day again. I don't know how the small amount of Karo that I gave sent Alex spiraling up the way he did. confused_cat
Needless to say, Alex is 'Mr. Grumpy Pants' angry(2)_cat today and I don't blame him. I put him through the sugar mill last night and then I had trouble getting blood this morning and he was a little crabby about that.... :?
I'm trying to analyze whether or not his tap has kicked in and last night didn't help because he was wanting food and grouchy before breffis but not necessarily due to his thyroid...and still not as persistent as last week before dose change.

He's quiet now, Starting to settle down and if I'm very good today he may forgive me. nailbite_smile

Ok remember I said we might have another decrease coming? We might. Let's see.. if you get another number in the low 50s, or another early drop, I'm gonna wanna decrease again. Hold for now though, that could be residual action from the 5.5u doses.

He's gonna probably drop this whole cycle so don't bother to get too many tests.. 2-3 this cycle would be fine spaced out. Don't really care when, the cycle is a wash. And you did the Karo exactly right last night, good intervention, don't beat yourself up!

Caryl's internet is down right now, I'll call her and relay the message. She should be back on late this afternoon.

Well, I take full blame for this. :sad: I said "hi" in this Caryl's condo yesterday without saying "anti-jinx," and there it is.

Okay, now I'm saying BLUE - blue, blue, blue!!! :-D

I'm baaaaack. Finally. Sheesh not having the internet is like not having air. Looks like Alex did another slow drop today and didn't go very low at all(unlike last night but much like yesterday day.... which I hope is not a precursor for tonight) nailbite_smile

Okay I'll do same dose tonight and we'll see what happens.
I only flogged myself a few times but thanks for reminding me that I did what I was supposed to :-D

But you KNOW I REALLY like you and could never let you take the blame...
(just don't say "HI" or "breakthrough" again..without saying antijinx..better yet, don't say them ...) :mrgreen:

Today when I had no internet I decided to really clean. So I ran to Target to get some stuff I needed and I always get ff when i'm there
because they always have beef and my boyz are beef men!
I decided to buy them each a catnip toy and we had a lovely day without the computer to distract me(I couldn't handle it every day though..lol)
I turned on the radio, I cleaned, and we danced when the Stones came on because one of the first shows we all watched together when i brought them home
was a LIVE Rolling Stones concert from St. Louis that I had just seen in NJ a week or two before.
and we played with their new toys, I took pictures..and fun was had by all...(well I could tell Jacky had fun..sometimes it's a little harder with Alex these days and he used to LOVE to play but I think he has residual neuropathy. I have noticed it in the last 2 days again). He had fun too though :)

Sometimes it's good to step away from the computer and toward the kitties. There are days when I've spent as much time talking ABOUT Kitty as being WITH him.
