No condo yesterday. Busy day for me today also. Plan to get 2 hour tests in up until +6 - then meeting with a financial planner for tax stuff and then the next test when I get back.

I moved his cube out to the kitchen to maybe stop Chatty Kathy visits to the bedroom. He wouldn't touch the cube until it was moved to the bedroom. I have to fetch him out of it before every shot because he goes there to play - its his reward for shots. But he goes there BEFORE the shot now.

Its funny I put the holes on the left/right and straight up. So he can't see straight ahead. He actually pokes his head up out of the top. Nanner so far is not a hit. Its hanging out in the freezer.

Good start for Maverick today and a cute visual of him sticking his head out of the box! Simon has not been impressed either with the nanner I bought for him. I don't know why since he really loves catnip.

Well Karrie, that answers that mystery. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't find Maverick's condo yesterday.
That is some gorgeous number for his morning start. :-D

Funny he should hide in cube, Checks used to do that. I think he enjoyed being dumped out. It was a game. He likes being dragged around in it too. :lol:

I agree.. great visual of him popping his head out of the top of the cube... chatty kathy is no fun in the night :roll:

Boy, it's really sounding like I need to get one of these mysterious cubes for my boys. They're so popular! Nice AMPS for Mav today! He'll be green in no time. You'll just have to dump him out of the cube to find out! :lol: Looking good, Maverick, dump your Chatty friend and things will be fine!

I get that he isn't crazy about the catnip nanner, but why put it in the freezer? does that keep the catnip more fresh? Should I be keeping my nip stash frozen? Have I been serving... *gulp*.. stale nip?!? :o

Georgia - the nanners seem to be mostly hits but some just don't like them. Maverick likes to eat catnip but he's never been a cat that "reacts" to it.

Barb I should drag him around in his cube HAHA. Love the visual.

Thanks Nicole - I have been really failing on getting spot checks so I can't justify an increase or a decrease because I've been such a bad bean. He's just so consistent (no lows or dives) and I haven't managed to get a curve to narrow down where his darn nadir is.

Devon and Violet - pop over to the walmart and get a cube! Only $3.99. They are hard to spot as they are flattened on the shelf and pop up when you set them up.

I had some energy yesterday. Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Coffee, Diet Pepsi and Pink Energy Energy drinks. I didn't have a nap for the first time in like a month. And I don't feel like I'm going to crash today. Normally after a good day the next few days are hard. I had soooo much work to catch up on (I've dropped so many balls its quite scary)... so didn't have time to set up our own condo or visit as many condo's as I want to. I'd love to visit everyone everyday.

Morning Karrie - great start for maverick today. It is so great to see those wonderful amps. almost green too. :-D

Sounds like Maverick is another cube lover. Mannie never touched his, so it sits in the bedroom gathering dust. :lol: I can see Maverick poking his head out of the top. what fun!

I am glad your energy is improving, and yay - no crash! I hope that continues to improve for you.

I took a short video of him in his cube. I hope I muted the clip right - didn't like my snickering at him in the background.
DH does good work on projects at the house. The hardwood install he did perfectly, but did not get to completing the baseboard trim (two years now). No hurry ;)

Also Maverick is pretty limited in his play due to arthritis. So I'm sure more mobile/agile kitties would be popping out all over the place and jumping.
 
Tray isn't a big fan of the nanners he plays with it like mad the first few days then ignores it, my civie is obsessed with them though.

This is a nice start to Maverick's day, hope all of you enjoy it.

Putty's nanner is in the same spot on the floor since the day I bought it.....of course I moved it to clean but he has never once even touched it. :roll:

Great video. I love the paw out one side and the tail out the other. Tess prefers to sleep in her cube, but only if it is up on the sofa. :roll: Also, breffis in bed if you please!
 
Loved the video!! Karrie, don't feel bad about the baseboard. My DH is a building contractor and installed all the hardwood in our home. I am still waiting for the baseboard, too (3 years ago!!). Also, he tore out one of our bathrooms and it still doesn't have a toilet in it (going on 6 months now). It is like the story of the shoemaker's children.
 
I love the video - so cute with his paw sticking out and a few peeks at his gorgeous face! Your energy drinks sound like a nice pick me upper!

Glad the energy cocktail is working for you! Got my vitamin D results back today... prescription overdid it a little (not quite dangerous yet!), so I'm scaling back a bit. I think it has made a difference, though!!

Love the cube video! Will have to buy one and see if Willie will play with it. If nothing else, I can keep his toys stashed in there!! LOL

great video - what fun! I loved the paw on one end, the tail on the other. :-D Mannie won't use his cube - they now gather dust in the spare room. Maverick may have to come and show him how to play cube. :lol:
