Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Ahhhhhh.... elixir! Thanks Elsa~), and Happy Catmint Caturday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Paw Prints Pizza is open and ready for business! They are running a Caturday Catnip special today, in honor of Catmint Caturday - lots of nip in those pies! They have even used their signature nip cheese. Best order early! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It is my bean's fav! SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with peppermint chips and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. It was a good one here yesterday. It was very much a water day here yesterday, what with swimming in the morning, and swimming again in the evening. We even made it to a park/beach in the afternoon. It was a slow start getting out the door for us, but once moving off we went! wow, stellar day, but a very long one, with another arrival home at 9PM. That seems to be the norm on FR nights anymore. All good though. Nicholas had a great swim at the Terrace Pool, our evening pool: riding the river in a tube, and shooting hoops at the basketball place. We found a new floating mat type thing that he just loved. Spent alot of time playing on that - it was great, one that rolled - awesome! I still love that drive from MLT pool to his house: 30 minutes of little guy stories. Quite the imagination he has. He still looks forward to our after swim Friday Night Burger Feast too. That is just so fun: burgers and fries, in the car, in the dark, just him and me, with lots of fun stories. Awesome time! Here's what I wrote last night, late last night once I got home, about the day: "Hi everyone! wow... another ate night! forgive my short response but I cannot believe how tired I really am.... it was a fantastic days here - sunny and 55. It is nice when one can go coatless. such a contrast to what they say will be here on Sunday - snow. oh haha. Pool time was great, just like always. Little guy did his first head first dive. he saw something on the bottom he wanted to get and figured head first was the fastest way to get it. since it was only 3.5 feet of water the guards had issues with that. duh. That dive took me by surprise. crazy stuff. It sure was great to see he could do it, but he got the water depth talk after that. of course we swam in the PM too. Amazing energy level considering he didn't nap, and had just been at Juanita Park for an afternoon in the park/beach. I wish I had half of that energy. lol. anyways- great great day, for all of us. tired here is probably an understatement. another out at 9AM, home at 9PM. bed sounds really good about now. I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-)" It is still amazing that kids can have the energy that they do. For him to swim as much as he did yesterday, and still go full throttle at the beach and the park is really awesome. Sure keeps me energized too.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. Crazy fun Lola. When I got home last night I watched Bug, once again, continue to maneuver Lola into runs and romps. That is so fun to watch. There was nothing amiss when I got home, just kitties waiting at the top of the stairs. Just as it always is. LOVE THAT! Lola was rolling on the stairs, Bug was pacing, and Elsa was just sitting with that stare: where have you been? They seem to have adjusted to the late Friday nights. I get a few meows, some leg rubs, they get scritches in return, and then off they go. DH fed them so there was no worry over them producing that "blood oath", they had full bellies... They did greet me, and were off on this awesome marathon run and chase, warp speed, a continuous chase for close to 10 minutes, one that included furniture jumps, floor sliding, rug curling, and stair hopping, and a few crashes...  That was so crazy, and pretty normal for Friday nights now. Elsa just sat there and watched them, before turning her back on the both of them, and heading off to bed, with that look on her face: "Well, are you coming?" :-D I really like the normalcy of what has become our Fr late nights... :-D :-D It is so quiet here this morning... all three of them are napping. alot of Normalcy in MusketeerVille this morning!

Have a great day everyone! I t will be a normal Caturday here" shopping, laundry errands, all those things I never get done when I have the boys. Catch up say! and recovery day from three very busy days with the boys. :-D Time permitting, and weather, I may go for a short hike though the woods to the shore later today. ;-) They say snow is possible tonight. HUH?

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

Re: 3/1 LOOSE LIPS: pools & more pools... & the park & the b

I'm glad you got to get outside with the boys yesterday in between pool visits. I love hearing about the kitties new routine of greeting you on Friday nights. Have a great day today. I hope you get to relax some.

Happy Caturday, Michelle! If I were you, I'd be napping all day today to recover from the three busy days with the boys instead of getting the errands done  . It sure would be nice if adults got the energy all the little ones have ;-) . I'm glad the kitties are settled in to the Friday routine, give them some scritches from me! Good luck getting all you have planned done. Have a good one

WOOT! Morning everyone.. well maybe it is afternoon. What a boring day here.... shopping, laundry.... BLECH!   on a god note; THE LAST OF LOLA'S MATS HAS BEEN REMOVED!!!!!!!!!! happy dance! dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat I've been working on that one for a couple of weeks, just loosening it a little each day, finally today it was hanging by a thread, so.... I yanked and out it came. SWEET! of course Lola didn't think so, but all was forgiven with a few crunchy treats.

Hi Carla - me too! It was to nice not to make it outdoors. We are looking at an upcoming week of rains all week, so I just couldn't pass up such a nice sunny day. me too on those FR night greetings - ti is so fun! Almost like they have to make up for me not seeing their antics all day, so they cram it all into a few minutes when I get home.  THX on today - we sure are trying. :-D

Hi Rachel - LOL, the thought did cross my kind, but I am such a lousy napper... just can't do them. I wake up feeling worse than before I went to nap. I so agree on that energy! THX on today too, all is coming along, and soon I will eb done. Hopefully in time to get out for a woods visit, before the rains/snow show up.

Re: 3/1 LOOSE LIPS: pools & more pools... & the park & the b

Goodness...where do you find the energy to keep up with those boys!!! And then you come home to Speedy Gonzales Lola and her trusty side-kick, Bug!  I hope you got all your boring chores and errands run today so that tomorrow can be filled with hikes and kitties and resting and relaxing. Gotta get your energy up for the next installment of Boys Gone Wet 'n Wild!!!! :-D :-D

Thank you for checking in on me and Shasta today and thank you for your help and advice. Shasta's Potassium level does concern me. We started her on supplements back in August, but since I was never able to get her in to the vet for more blood work, I got scared about giving her full dosage. Now that I see where she is, I will be giving her full dosage from now on. She was prescribed Butler Schein PotassiTabs (468mg): give 1/2 of a tablet orally twice a day. Hoping we can get this Potassium level corrected. nailbite_smile Thanks again and have a wonderful evening, Michelle!

Hi Deborah ~O) I wish I knew on that energy! I just get up and go, and try to keep up with them. I love this:

That is more than true! And thx on today, it was "boring" in that I didn't get out, but I did get alot done  yupp, maybe tomorrow, and and big yes on the energy for the next installment of boys gone wild. -- good luck with Shasta and the potassium issue. The med name I so not know, but do remember the dosage. That is what we gave Mannie too. ANd I can so udnerstand the worry over the dosage, and the ability to get in for retests,It is all tough. I was trying to remember how often I did that - maybe initially in two weeks time? once a month? one thinks one will never forget these things, but then we do... With Mannie there just was no choice, he had to be retested, as we suspected we were dealing with multiple issues, which we were, and we had to know if it (the meds) was working, which it was. There was a test they did that only checked potassium, and that was cost wise, significantly less than a full blood panel. I will post this in your condo as well, but another member sent me this link,a s she was dealing with the issue on the human level. The section on the effects on low potassium are informative. Though this was written in reference to humans, it applies to cats as well: http://hkpp.org/patients/potassium-health . Wishing you much luck!
