Good morning World! Yesterday - Lady Bug's Gift

AMPS 340

KT's high this morning 'cos I did another fur shot last night - ANOTHER one! I'm stopping the scruff shooting and going back to the flanks - I don't DO them there. Last night's went right thru the scruff tent....I was so upset with myself again. Dang! I increased his insulin to 2.5u's this morning to try to help get rid of this. We'll see if we need to stay at the 2.5. Since I finally figured out WHY he does those TOO LOW runs at night sometimes - sleeping too sound, I think I can increase and be OK. When I suspect a potential drop, he'll get MC at last food, some left out with ice and EVO hard left out. I'll have to get up to wake him up but he'll then go eat if he's low.

If you missed our condo yesterday, please take time to go back and check it out....I added a story and pic of my 'gift' from LadyBug.

My photobucket today has SPRING in it! This is my 'Color Change' Iris. My mother's favorite flower is Iris - my dad has been buying her tubers for about 50 years - talk about just beautiful! She's shared some of them with me. This one starts out purplish then turns to the most beautiful salmon pink color - the lower bloom is the newer. Isn't it neat?

Thoughts and prayers for all our ailing babies and those Beans who have holes in their hearts right now. We especially think of Jill/Babee today. As we do every day - we include Weezer and family as they try new insulin trying to bring down Wee's numbers.

HUGS TO ALL!! THANK YOU for visiting today!!!

Ugh on the fur shot! I've never tried the flank, but if that is easier for you, stick where it works. Beautiful iris! thanks for your support Lyresa, it means alot. :YMHUG:

Blah on the fur shot! Oh well. Look forward and not behind. I always do the scruff shot, but I lift the fur. CD (& Big Mac) sent me the photo below once and I haven't had any problems since. Tarragon is super fluffy so that is an accomplishment in and of itself.

Love the iris! I have a ton of them from home that I dug up before my parents moved out of the house I grew up in. Ours haven't bloomed yet this year, but the daffodils and tulips are going crazy.

Hugs to you Lyresa! Get out there and enjoy this beautiful Oklahoma weather in March!

You've created a beautiful world, Lyresa, and it's always a pleasure to visit and spend time there reading about it and seeing it. :YMHUG:

I hope KT comes down some for you today.
