This is the 2nd morning in a row that Morris has eaten all of his food overnight & is inpatiently waiting for more food! I think that I will set up his timed feeder tonight & see how that goes. I also plan on giving him another dose of mirtz this afternoon. Last night, Morris ate 1 can of Fancy Feast & 1/2 can Friskies. I have put out another can of Fancy Feast & the other 1/2 can Friskies for him to eat today.

So great he is eating well, and probably feeling so much better.
Nice to hear you are getting the full 3 days worth of bang from the mirtz!!!

But I have to ask...Morris? Whats UP with those BG's this a.m.? :roll:

I gave Morris another 150 mls of SQ fluids. He needed to take a break in the middle to use the LB!!! Once we were done with the fluids, he hopped off my lap really quickly & proceeded to be sick....or so I thought! Turns out, he hacked up a very nasty looking/smelling hairball! If I hadn't been there to see it come out of his mouth, I would have assumed he missed the LB! ohmygod_smile

After he recovered from the nasty hairball, what did he do??? He proceeded to start licking himself all over again & start working on the next hairball!!! ohmygod_smile

I attempted to get another dose of mirtz into him tonight, but I am not 100% sure that it went down the hatch. He has caught on to my idea that I stole from Brenda & hiding pills in laughing cow cheese!! I then tried peanut butter (another steal from Brenda!), but he wasn't going to try that either!

But I have to ask...Morris? Whats UP with those BG's this a.m.?

I am hoping it was due to the hairball! Wasn't it Luna whose numbers would drop once she coughed up a hairball??? He was higher at +8.5, then was dropping a bit by PMPS. The hairball came up around +10.5

enough with these numbers, Morris, aren't you feeling better yet?

Gwen, can you get some spot checks over the next couple of days so we can look at adjusting his dose? Right now there is no way to tell if he is running high all the time, or if some of these high numbers might be bounces from something lower.
