He is ever so slowly coming back down. He went outside last night for a couple of hours. It must be too hot for him during the day. It's been getting up to 28-30 degrees C (around 85 F for you American
), which is very hot for us. We moved 30km north of Wellington this year as we bought a house in April and the temperature difference is crazy! Anyway, Mo wasn't in by 10.30 last night so we went out looking for him. Then we heard his growls coming from a few houses down. He does this super cute thing where he likes to go into other cats territories and fight them. Naughty boy! He came home shortly after that. I'm always happy to see his cute little moustache peeking through the door
I have noticed in the last couple of days that he is purring a bit more, is letting us pat him more without growling, and isn't as ravenous. He's still super excited for meal times but isn't waking us up in the night for food. He's even a little bit of his meal behind to come back to later! I don't know what this means. Hopefully, it's a good thing...We have also noticed he's had BIG eyes the last few days. He always used to get big eyes when he would play or get the zoomies. He hasn't had big eyes in a looooong time unless he was PISSED at us. So hopefully things are starting to slowly change for the better.
We have started 9.5 units this morning. Come back down to yellow, my lovely boy

And I always love the reminder that kitties are more than just the numbers - it's hard to stop ourselves from getting caught up in them. Hope you have a wonderful night
