Thank you Julie. It sure is great and I love that my Lucy is in such good numbers now. If only we could stop the bouncing. :) But that seems to be getting a bit less too. I am also feeding mostly Whiskas loaf style food in pouches now as it seems that this hardly affects the glucose levels though the Fancy Feast Classics food is good too but I have sometimes wondered if the Fancy Feast does raise the glucose levels a bit. I feed the Fancy Feast with no cereals but the gelling agents vary with each flavour of the Fancy Feast Classics so maybe some of the gelling agents do raise the glucose levels a bit. The Whiskas loaf varieties use the same gelling agent in each flavour and though I am not keen on carrageenan the Whiskas food barely causes any change in glucose levels so I feed Lucy mostly the Whiskas food now.

Funny how some low carb food seems to raise BGs. There was one fish variety of fancy feast that seemed like it raised Punkin's blood sugar, even though it was supposed to be something like 2% carbs.

Glad you've found something that works!

So nice of Lucy to give you this green preshot during the day. :D It looks like blue and green have become her favourite colours too.

Yes it is funny how some of the supposedly low carb food do raise glucose levels and I also found the Whiskas in gravy are excellent at raising glucose levels when you need to raise them. Another benefit of low carb foods is that Lucy has better poops. Before we changed to all low carb foods she had occasional soft stools and constipation.

Hi Wendy. Yes it is much better to have the green numbers during the day. Though I did get up twice during the night to check Lucy's glucose in case it went too low and to give her a small amount of food.
