Hi Nancy and Bailie. I was thinking about you the other day. I see he's bouncing this meowning, but it's not a set back. Some kitties are more sensitive than others to the lower numbers they experience, so in turn they bounce to stabilize themselves. It's very common at the beginning. As Bailie becomes more and more regulated, he will clear those bounces faster and faster and then eventually you should see less and less bouncing.
How is he doing with his neuropathy?

Just to provide a bit more info about bounces...
It can take a while for a cat's system to get used to being back in normal range blood glucose numbers. Given that a bounce is caused by a stored form of glucose being released along with counterregulatory hormones, in the beginning, it can take a few days for a bounce to clear. As Bailie gets used to being in lower numbers, the bounces should be fewer and take less time for the numbers to get back to a better range. I didn't want you to think that the bounce was going to clear in a few hours.

Oh, it’s not that great at all. I’m really worried. He just doesn’t seem to be getting very many greens and it’s driving me crazy I’m so worried. I hope he doesn’t have acro is it common to take so long before he’s regulated. He’s five months into it now.How long did it take Nestle ? I’m just seeing your reply right now.
