I was going to wait for a later mid-cycle test, but Maverick was romping up and down the hall with his spongy ball so I thought I'd see what was up. Almost green :D.

Took the drooler for his early morning walk and all of a sudden he caught a scent, I thought it was a deer, but nope, it was a coyote, hunkered down in the deep grass next to the path. I have no idea how far away he was since it was dark, and I couldn't see anything :p, but the bark and howl he made was right there, gave me the chills. I had already passed him by this point, so I didn't want to turn around and risk going past him again, he didn't sound happy with us. I ended up giving him his space and took a really really long detour!

Yikes! Vancouver had to close some of the trails in Stanley Park, cause coyotes were going after joggers.

2 lousy points Maverick, you couldn't give your bean just two points lower?

That's not surprising, they seem to be more active recently. We've had a few early morning encounters lately, just not this close. They're usually afraid of us and high tail it (well not afraid of me, probably just my GSD lol). Serves me right for walking at 5:30 am  Might have to start carrying my riding crop. This path was adjacent to a ridge, so I had no where to go but down!

Lol - Maverick is likely holding out for +8 again to show me something extra special. I may poke him earlier since I'm just curious :p
