I was going to wait for a later mid-cycle test, but Maverick was romping up and down the hall with his spongy ball so I thought I'd see what was up. Almost green
.
Took the drooler for his early morning walk and all of a sudden he caught a scent, I thought it was a deer, but nope, it was a coyote, hunkered down in the deep grass next to the path. I have no idea how far away he was since it was dark, and I couldn't see anything
, but the bark and howl he made was right there, gave me the chills. I had already passed him by this point, so I didn't want to turn around and risk going past him again, he didn't sound happy with us. I ended up giving him his space and took a really really long detour!
