Info ***2025 SPREADSHEETS—PLEASE READ & KEEP BUMPED***

It’s time to start thinking about doing a 2025 SS for your kitty. We ask that a new SS tab be started each year otherwise the SS can get very, very long and take a long time to scroll to the bottom. It’s very helpful for advice givers to be able to get to your data quickly.

US Spreadsheet (human or pet meter)
Below are the instructions for how to create a new tab for the 2025 US SS (human or pet meter). If you have any issues, please contact me via PM:

1. Open the SS from within Google Drive.
2. At the bottom, you’ll see a tab entitled “Template”. Please be sure the information at the top regarding diagnosis date, insulin type, method of regulation, and meter are filled in. Copy this information.
3. Left click on the dropdown arrow next to it and select “duplicate”. It will make a new SS with the tab entitled “Copy of Template”.
3. Left click on the dropdown arrow on the new tab, select “Rename”, and type in 2025.
4. Paste the information from the top two lines on the template (date of diagnosis, insulin type, method of regulation, meter) to the top two lines on the new 2025 SS.
5. On the very first date line, type in 01/01/2025. Click on that square and a small + will appear. Drag that plus all the way down the column and it should auto-populate the date through the year.
6. On January 1, 2025, left click on the new 2025 tab (not the arrow), and drag it all the way to the left so it is in first position (which means that will be the SS that opens when someone access it from within FDMB.

EDITED TO ADD: If you have an older SS that has a “Template” tab, it likely does not have the new info we are putting on our SSs and the new Template tabs regarding DKA. Please contact me if your template does not have any info at the top regarding DKA (even if your cat has never had it) and I will add it for you. Thank you!

If you have been around a while and your SS does not have a “Template” tab, please PM me (it’s probably time you upgraded to the new SS which has a “Template” tab and then we can link the old SS; I’m happy to dothis for you, if you like). If you are converting or have converted from a pet meter to a human meter and need a different template, please PM me.

If you are using a US SS, please attempt to make the new tab yourself following the above instructions before you PM me for help but please do send me a PM if you have any problems.

World Spreadsheet (human or pet meter)
If you are using either World SS (human or pet meter), please contact me via PM ASAP and I’ll do it for you as it’s faster for me to do it than it is to put the detailed directions here (and they are long and detailed). I will do these in groups so please be patient. They will all be done prior to Jan 1, 2025.

In addition, if you have a World SS which has tabs for a World and US template, absolutely please PM me as the templates have a glitch in them and I’ll need to fix it for you or we can’t add new tabs.

I am more than happy to add templates, do new SSs, etc. for anyone at all but please ask ASAP so I don’t have 100 requests on New Year’s Eve. Thank you!
