Sorry for the delay. I had put my name on a waiting list for a new apartment expecting it to take a couple of months and one became available 3 days later. I had about 5 weeks to pack up 16 years worth of stuff and move. (while working overtime!) To say it was time consuming would be an understatement.
Anyway, I’m somewhat settled in my new place and have my internet issues all worked out. I have gone into Shutterfly and set up the entire template for the calendar. All i need to do now is drop in photos.
I’m going to take photo submissions until Thanksgiving Day, which is November 23, 2017. That gives everyone just over 5 weeks. At midnight on the 23rd, I will place an order for the first set of 50 calendars. So if you don’t get your photo to me by that day, it won’t be in the calendar.Shutterfly generally takes 5-7 days to get the calendars printed and shipped to me so they should be available for shipping by Dec. 1st. That will get them out in plenty of time for the holidays.
In the past I’ve asked people not to submit cell phone photos. I’m going to change that because most people have smart phones now and the camera quality has improved greatly. Just be sure that it is well lit and in focus so it looks great in the calendar. I can edit minor problems in Photoshop but it’s hard to fix a genuinely bad photo.
Please read the direction thoroughly before sending your photos.
So here are the general rules:
I think that covers everything.
Again, deadline is at midnight on November 23, 2017 and photos get sent via email to sweetkittyboo@msn.com.
I’m working on shipping information and hope to have ordering info posted shortly before the submission deadline.

So here are the general rules:
- Submit 1-3 photos via email only (not by PM please) tosweetkittyboo@msn.com.
- Make sure that you change the file name to your name and your cat’s name. (ie,DeanieandBoo) Some cats have similar looks and I use the file names to make sure i have the correct name in the calendar.
- Send well lit, in-focus photos. Square formats work well (like Instagram photos but without the filters.) Since the photos need to fit into Shutterfly’s formats, it’s best if there is a little room around the cat in case i need to crop.
- Sugarcats only. OTJ and GA’s welcome. Please indicate if you would like me to add the GA after the name. No civvie cats.
- No people in the photos. Please, no shower shots! I got one of those once.
- No text or date stamps on the photos. Please remove those before sending.
- No holiday photos. It limits where I can place the photos.
I think that covers everything.
