2 years ago on August 1st Spooky celebrated his freedom from Levemir! He's still going strong (although I am lazy about checking his BG) checked it a week ago cause he was at the water dish (almost never gets used) he was 78 mg/dl so I guess it's all good. His weight is perfect and his buddy Socks has also lost a little. Spooky is still eating canned food well and almost anything else he can steal from me. As a matter of fact I don't soak pans and baking dishes anymore before putting them in the dishwasher (after making fishsticks the other day) Spooky spent 2 hours licking the glass dish, it was so clean I rinsed it by hand and put it away!

We miss everyone here, wish I had more time but we are in the busy season at work, I'm not allowed to take vacation until fall, it looks like with all my vacation and overtime/holiday bonus days I will sit home from December till March and collect a paycheck!
 
Congratulation on 2 years at the Falls! It's great to hear from you! :-D We've all missed you and Spooky here. I'm glad to hear that you and Spooky are doing so well, although busy. Wow, that must be a lot of overtime. Great vacation when it comes though.

Hey Ronnie, I can loan him out in November for 2 weeks when we fly to the US. We will be passing through Toronto (Air Canada) from Munich to Boston. He even does a good job on cleaning burnt pans (my tongue is sore just thinking about it) 2 hours while I was watching TV I could hear the licking in the kitchen sink!!!!!

Please post the toilet photos again. I think there are a lot of newer members who haven't had the pleasure of seeing them :cool:

Thanks guys for all the well wishes! Both cats are really doing great. When I'm gone all day they are quite happy to see me when I come and really snuggle on the couch in the evenings (after the dishes are done LOL!)

When we go on vacation my nieghbor has already asked if she can feed/flush for the cats......She's so impressed with thier toilet habits :lol:

Glad things are going so well. Buddy is hanging in there, he is still on Lev, and doing pretty good for an IAA kitty. His numbers are a lot better than they used to be. Happy things are good.
