You don't want to skip unless there's no other choice. You could give it early by 2 hours with a decent dose reduction. I'd say no more than a 2 u total dose.

I think that sounds safe. He will also be able to eat overnight. If I don't put food out before I go to bed, he's my unwelcome 3am alarm clock.
