Today has been Elian's most consistantly low day .... considering his 300's, 400's and even 500+. Hopefully this is a good thing and the start of his body finally accepting the insulin and getting regulated. I will continue to monitor him - I've even been getting some of those middle of the night checks in!
He's looking good today Susie. Nice flat surf. I guess he decided to just totally skip the pinks which is just fine by me. Let's hope he can keep it up for a little while. Yellow is a nice place to stay and adjust. Good going E and You too Susie. Give that little man a scritch for me
Thanks, Caryl. Unfortunately I just tested him and got 405 for a +8. He's on the rise again. But the rest of the day has been good so hopefully it'll get better and better each day. It's so funny that as soon as I unzip the case for the testing supplies the other three boys all come running. Elian stays right where he is and makes me go to him! Trying to NOT give treats each and every time - getting to co$tly for all four! Elian doesn't seem to mind - he's already used to getting poked ....no fights, no hissing, nothing. Such a good boy. And another reason I adore him so much.
