? 2/9 Zazzy skipped evening shot...SHOOT LATE AND ADJUST? Need help

40 minute stall is dropped to 96 :banghead:
Skipping her shot, I'll be doing a mini curve tonight until bedtime to see where her regular food takes her.

She's now risen 200 points since eating her dinner. Should we just stick it out and pick up with her regular shot time tomorrow morning or give her a dose now and adjust her shot each day until we're back to normal? Currently about +2 from her last stalled PMPS (so +3 from her first PMPS).

Sorry you didn't get an answer sooner!! If your schedule allows you to, you could go ahead and give it now and then adjust back to your chosen shot times over the next several days but 3 hours is a lot to make up. It's totally up to you though.

You can adjust time by 15 minutes per cycle or 30 minutes per day.

With Zazzy getting Pre-shots too low to shoot, you may want to back off and try doing .5 and see if you can get 2 shots in per day

I think .5 units sounds great too. Then you would likely be able to hopefully shoot a consistent dose and not have skip doses. I am not so sure that a curve would give you much useful information until you have held a dose for a bit, but I guess it depends on what you are looking for....I guess it would show you what Zazzy does with a depleting amount of insulin so that's good to know.
