Yesterday's Condo

Another late posting today. Still feeling a bit blech, so went btb. Willie is doing okay...currently sleeping in front of his heat dish. Was shunned again at bedtime last night, but he did sneak in for covert cuddles at 4am. After first breakfast, we had more on the chest cuddles. From last night to today, numbers are pretty flat, but at least they are blue, so we will take it! especially with everything going on!

Blue isn't bad. I hope you are feeling better soon. And I hope the vets find a good treatment for Willie's problems. Its nice to hear that he's feeling good.

Question.. I have always used the Relion Micro & love it.. not one complaint.. but always wanting to save $$ when I can.. I saw the Advocate Redi-Code meter strips cheap on Amazon (thanks to you) ordered the meter & the strips.. came in the mail today.. anyway... I tested myself with the new meter & my BG was 100, I then tested myself on the Relion Micro & got 141 :shock: I typically run in the 70s & I guess that doesn't matter... but I was surprised to see the 41 point difference.. have you noticed that?

Hi all! nice pmps for Willie - YAY! I hope he has a great cycle tonight. It is good to read that he is feeling good - I hope the vet will come up with some good answers and solutions for Willie. We are thinking of you both.

A heat lamp.... thats a pretty good idea. I want to get the Maverick a flat heated bed. I'm sure he'd love a heat lamp even more :)

I love our heat dish! It looks like a round oscillating fan, but it doesn't move. I have a big drafty apartment with radiator heat that I don't control (and is on a timer, so not on all the time). The dish isn't designed to heat a whole room, but rather keep warm whatever is 3-10 feet in front of it. so it is a nice extra boost of warmth for us when watching tv! Willie and I have been napping in front of it off and on all day. Earlier, it was too funny... he was asleep curled up around my hand, and the way he was smacking his lips, I think he was dreaming about food! I laughed so hard, I woke him up!

Been liking the gentle surf of the last couple days. Hoping maybe if we ease our way down to greens tonight, maybe tomorow's bounce won't be as high.

He's doing his burrito looking nap right now. I'm still trying to figure out where he hides all the legs!!

So true, Natalia... so true. Unfortunately, I really have go get into the office tomorrow... much to do! At least the weekend will be almost here!

Nice BG for Willie! We get shunned at bedtime now too, but she also sneaks in later during the night. Funny isn't it, but I'll take what I can get.
