Happy Snow Day LL!!! All those kitties dancing in my condo yesterday did the magic! Thank you!!!!!

Imagine my surprise when I woke to a snow day AND an AMPS 179! His +3 433 last night led to this??? Wow. That's some movement while I snoozed.

WCR: Still is a tad sleepy, but with his mama bean home today to play and cook some fresh chicken snakus, I imagine he'll wake up. Hungry (as usual) and overall his usual Mr. Mellow self.

I'm going BTB, but I obviously have some poking to do this morning with this number. I promised it would only be a mini poke-a-thon so I could get this snow day...so I am going to have to plan the pokes wisely. :lol:

look at this excitement! don't tell the LL kitties that today might have to be more than a mini poke-a-thon with this kind of excitement.

defrosting chicken to cook up soon.

it's still snowing here. will continue all day. and the wind is going to pick up. i'm staying in!

yepper - i'm a teacher. 8th graders who drive me nuts and make me laugh at the same time! my job is never boring and i have a great group of students this year.

i must thank mother nature for providing me with this day to poke-poke-poke. i also need to give Six credit...he's providing the low numbers. :-D this new dose (cycle 6) is doing great things.

with all this excitement, when am i going to fit in a nap and grading papers?

What a great day for Six! Keep it up kitty! So far, this looks like a great surf!

Oh how I miss snow days. I say, forget about grading the papers, it's a snow day! Pretend you left them in your classroom.

WCR: He's been a little too chill for my liking today, but I did just catch him starring intently at a milk jug ring and I think I just heard him bat it. Whew. I imagine a 140 increase in numbers in less than 2 hours might make any kitty feel wonky. I'll keep an eye on him. I also forget I'm not around during the day M-F so this could be his normal behavior.

WHR: I followed Sara's advice and didn't grade a single paper. I took a serious nap this afternoon. It was wonderful. Don't know the last time I work up feeling so good. The DH came home early too...loads of places closed (or closed early) today. We're not seasoned weather people in Dayton and have a hard time dealing with back-to-back storms.

Back to WCR: So what's with the 140 jump in 2 hours? He bypassed the yellows. I think I am starting to collect enough data that shows he bounces from the blues. Am I interpreting the data correctly or is there another explanation?

ok, we're seeing a drop. hope this continues. wonder if it will be like last night.

i'm on a two hour delay for tomorrow with the possibility of another snow day. even a two hour delay will allow for a +3 which makes me grateful since we are seeing some action on this dose.

What a great day for Six. Maybe if you stay home more often, he'll give you better numbers!! (I know. Work is the only way to afford strips!)

If you're getting our snow storm, it started last night and is supposed to be going strong until tomorrow morning -- about 36 hrs worth of snow.
 
SIX - going the wrong way!

It was a great day for him even with these evening numbers.

Sienne - we are getting Lake Michigan lake effect snow tonight/tomorrow and wind (today was the system I think you have). Other schools are dropping like flies...maybe we will close tonight!

Just got the call!!!! Closed again tomorrow. Let's hope Six shows some more action tomorrow so I can be around. I won't be here (FDMB) on Thursday - parent teacher conferences at night. DH will be testing, feeding and shooting.

I do not have an educated eye when it comes to SS, but I think he is looking as expected... we both have LTS & bouncers... good #s AM ... is "paying" for this PM... the good news.. is.. he can get good.. so we see a little high.. i think that is what this is about for a bit
