Maybe...just maybe... Thought the run was over last night when he was up to 90's. I expected that this am he was going to be higher then the shed was just too full before. Now maybe... Yesterdays condo : viewtopic.php?f=9&t=36248
He will get a snack at about +7.5 and I will recheck a bg when I get in from work which will be about +13-14 today. Have a great day everyone.

Re: 2/9 Morpheus ambg-60

Good morning. It looks like nothing but good news in this condo today.

You have officially started an OTJ countdown. It really is 3.5 days since you stopped insulin but for the sake of easy counting how about we call this....

MORPHEUS, DAY 3 OTJ

Congrats!!

I'm going to shamelessly borrow these instructions from Libby:
Libby & Lucy said:
Test at your normal AMPS and PMPS times. Feed multiple small meals throughout the day as much as possible (small meals are less likely to overwhelm a newly functioning pancreas).

If Morpheus is green at your normal test times, no need to test further until the next "PS" time, just feed small meals and go about your day. If he is blue, feed a small meal and test again after about 3 hours. If his number is lower 3-4 hours after a meal, then his pancreas is working!

Sometimes the trial doesn't work the first time and we have to give a little more support in the form of resuming insulin. It's not the end of the world if that happens, we just give him the support he needs. Our goal is a strong remission and it's better to take our time to get that than to rush into remission just to have it fail later on.

Thanks everyone. Morpheus had 4 small meals and will have a tiny snack tonight. Bg just 62 tonight. Onward to Day 4
