There it is! I figured he'd be there by +10.

Don't know how to handle the schedule with my classes though. I'll figure something out.

Shot at +10, 1.25U. As low as the 1.5 took him, I decided to see if 1.25 would be a little more gentle.

I'll be curious to see if Lucian pushes back with a flat cycle after that green surfing :mrgreen: . Hopefully that's an indication he's going to let you stretch out his schedule. I think Eddie and Lucian must be listening to the same dance music! :-D

I wish he would! But I need it to be a schedule that doesn't require a shot in the afternoon. Morning and evening, we're good, the 8 hr cycle he's been on, we're good. Anything else isn't gonna work with my class schedule. I have 3 out of 4 of the upcoming weeks scheduled for afternoon classes. I took them because of his cycles. :YMSIGH:

Woohoo... greens for Lucian (even though it complicates the schedule)! We managed a green today too, so Lucian and Alska have a little company playing chase in the grass.

If he's obviously rising in an hour, can I shoot and work him back towards his schedule?

I'm not sure what to do with him, but I'm supposed to be gone for the next 4 days, all afternoon. If he goes at +8, then he'll get shot at 10pm, then 6am, then 2pm for which I won't be here. I don't want to wait till +10 because he will be too high by that point and we'll still have the same time issue.

Other than that, all I can see is bringing him down in 4 hr increments until 4 am, then he'll be back to his same time frame. It's hard to tell what he's doing, right now should be nadir unless he's trying to stretch it or he's just bouncing from the lows. If 8hrs is now too short, he's going to drop too low while I'm gone. ACCKKKK! ohmygod_smile

Need some advice please. confused_cat

I don't know, Debbie. I don't think you can plan ahead with Lucian. If he were mine, I'd shoot after +8 and not sooner. Maybe shoot what you get when you can and see if he settles in.

He's flat and he ate after the last test, an hour ago. With him not moving, I'm not shooting yet. We'll see where he is @+8. Or 9 Or 10.........

I can see me cancelling class this week. :-x The problem, is that the classes are required by Worker's Comp, not something I wanted to do to stat with, but maybe I can beg off and claim to have the flu or something, they won't know the difference.

Guess +8 isn't a good time for his shot, huh? Don't get me wrong, I'd love for him to stretch out to 12 hrs! Will just have to get him arranged, over the next couple days, to mornings and evenings.

I know it messes up your schedule, but it's great he didn't bounce and the cycle is flat, but below the renal threshold. Not bad. :-D

I think just roll with him this week and see how it shakes out?
 
He bounced up to 316 by +9, so I went ahead and shot.

I don't think he's ready to lengthen his cycles, but may be in need of a bit of a reduction? What do you think? Could that make a difference?

Well, a reduction might make for a little higher numbers and fit your schedule better at least this week. He'd probably be ready to shoot at +8, with a reduction. As long as he is under the renal threshold, you wouldn't be losing much momentum?
 
That's just it, would he still be under renal threshold or higher just to be on the 8 hr schedule? Or should I go for a higher dose and a longer schedule? I see that many give much larger doses and are 12/12. But then, looking at what he did today, a higher dose would have had him hypo and what if I wasn't home?

I'll get out of class, but I've got to get him under control, I'll have to go the following week, won't be able to get out of it again.
