Struggling to keep him out of the tailspin. Starting a new thread here. Hoping we can just make it to the amps to give a 75% dose. But he nadirs late so I’m really hoping he keeps eating and stays safe tonight. I’m giving him lots of food hes not used to…

(For context he had a seizure at BG 48 on 1/1/26)

Thinking about a 10u dose at amps - don’t want to reduce tooo much because we’ve lost progress quickly by draining the depot too much before in a scenario like this but reeeally don’t want to have to keep doing this honey/kibble

He’s doing fine now. And going into a bounce. So I’m thinking I’ll go 12u this morning.

My apologies if I'm forgetting something you've mentioned before, but do you have an autofeeder? If he has a pattern of late nadirs and you're worried about deep drops, especially overnight, I wonder if having one programmed to give him a meal or snack around or a little before nadir time could be a useful security blanket. (I'm still pretty clueless, though, so I could be way off base!)
