I'd say all is well,if it weren't for that nasty number. Checks is behaving normally.
Gonna see if he will let me nap with him.

Morning Barb - ooooo, and ouch on that +1. Checks - what are you doing on that floor? Come on down buddy - the lower floors are where it is at. And be especially good and nap with your bean, OK?

Checks woke me from semi- sleep, to let me know his be was coming down, and wants to be tested NOW :-D
Da bean is going back to warm quilt and heating pad.
I'm sorry I can't get to condos again.

Awwww i'm jealous Barb, i would give anything to curl up with my kitty.....i hope you and Checkers enjoyed the nap time.

Nice +2.5 Checks, but take it easy ok, make it a nice slow slide into blues.

Oh no Tracy, you don't want to be jealous right now. I'm sick, with diverticulitis, waiting for meds to work to ease belly pain.
Meantime, Checkers tries to keep Mommy from laying around, by sitting on sink or in tub, yelling for me to turn on water. Doesn't do any good to tell him to shut the... ahem, heck, up.

Oh no, Barb! Diverticulitis is no fun at all. :sad: I hope the meds kick in soon.

Checkers wants a water fountain! Another cute pic for you, this is my Maddie (spokescat for Drinkwell :lol: )

Melissa, he does have a fountain, but it's for washing feet. :lol:

That's cute Celi. I put a plastic cup in the sink today, and freshen it periodically, but it's the running water he wants.

I'm thinking of changing him to Lev, to see if I get better control. I printed out Jill's article about the difference between Lev and Lantus.
After I'm able to study it and get some questions put together, I will PM Jill and see if she will help me with a plan for him.
I'm obviously not managing his numbers well.
Next week, I will consult with his vet, to see about pain management. It's time.
