2/8 Shadow has made it 100 days otj

Morning.
Today is a big milestone. Shadow has been OTJ now for 100 days after being on insulin for 100 days. :RAHCAT
She seems to be doing very well for now altho' we had the last few days of not wanting to eat much. I was
starting to worry. (imagine that?!)
I can only surmise that she was really bored with her food. Yesterday I went and bought a new flavor
of fancy feast (chicken and liver) and a fancy feast appetizer and that got her enthusiasm up for her food dish. :smile:
I generally don't give her liver.
Shadow was also extra cuddly last night. She slept on top of me, put her face on mine, nose to nose, cheek to almost cheek....
and purred for an hour. Of course, it woke me up and I stayed that way. @-)

DD is doing so much better. She's still taking prilosec but that's it. I really believe her stomach issues were
all a result from her wisdom teeth surgery and the pain killer/lack of eating episode.
It just takes a long time to recover when the stomach is involved.
She has her first boyfriend now and he wants to be a vet. :lol: So I'm making sure he knows all about
FD. He's likely to be my future petsitter.

I wish we were the ones about to get 3 ft of snow. :roll: Looks like we'll just have another fire season
this spring/summer instead. nailbite_smile If only my neighbor would get out and do some remediation
on their property. Good thing we don't have any vacation plans...

Way to go Shadow! That's so inspiring - gives me hope! I think it's neat you still check in on us and continue to provide support. Glad DD is doing better all around. Her future's so bright...you might wanna get her some shades! Keep on truckin' guys!

This is a real milestone. We are so happy for you. Also glad to hear that your DD is fine again and that she has a boyfriend who wants to be a vet. He should be encouraged!
