Good Morning, Everyone,

Wow, the Full Snow Moon was spectacular here in the North Country: so bright, lighting up the snow on the ground almost as if it were daytime. I hear that the kitties had a great party at Camp Stu.

Rusty had a good night. His beans didn't hear the first alarm today, but fortunately the "Ducks" chimed in 3 minutes later and, boy, they are really loud (this is the "duck" sound on my iPhone alarm). So Rusty got his test, feed, shoot on time and is now chillaxin' on his cushion by the radiator. It is 3 degrees here this morning. I'm about to go on a snowshoe hike. Edward is staying home to rest a strained muscle. So the boys will look after each other until my return in the mid afternoon.

Wishing you all a good day and sending healing vines and good thoughts to all kitties who are not feeling well,

Ella & Rusty

Hey Kitties! That was one great party. Thanks for coming. No one fell into the icy fishing hole, no one landed in the trees on the toboggan chute, everyone enjoyed the warm fire and Chef Mannie's wonderful menu. The singing was wonderful under Moonie's great direction. And I thought I caught a glimpse of our GAs partying, too, even though the veil isn't as thin at this time of year. Hope you all got home safely, especially those of you who rode in Dorothy's shoe bus (it didn't look too winterized). Good thing the special Kitty Bus was always ready to take on extra passengers!
See you all later for some chillaxin', preferably on a warm beach somewhere.

Have fun on your hike. I hope Edward's muscles ease up and he and Rusty have a relaxing day while you enjoy the great outdoors.

Enjoy your 3 degree hike. That's a string of words that just plain confuses me. :? But you like it, that's the important thing.

Re: 2/8 Rusty AMPS 101

Another nice Rusty start to the day, he'll be green in no time!  Have fun on the hike today. Rusty and Edward will keep each other occupied.

Re: 2/8 Rusty AMPS 101, +8 51, PMPS 70

Hi again,
The snowshoe hike (on the Jackrabbit x-country ski trail) was beautiful, if a bit icy. The trail has lots of steep ups and downs. I think it would be difficult to ski! (for me, anyway). Lunch at a frozen pond, where, on the ice, there was the carcass of a coyote (picked clean). We saw a bald eagle and 2 crows hovering around the site.

While I was out Rusty may have dipped below 50, since he apparently forgot about finishing his breakfast, scarfed it just a little before Edward served his lunch, and then--2 hours later--I came home and tested him at +8: bg = 51 despite having eaten FF T&G for lunch! At some point in the early afternoon he gave up a small hairball (Edward didn't hear it or see it). So I guess it was an eventful morning and early afternoon.

Off now to visit condos. Hope everyone is having a good evening,

Ella & Rusty

Wow Mr GREEN Rusty! Looks like the full moon party was just the ticket for some nice numbers today!

Re: 2/8 Rusty AMPS 101, +8 51, PMPS 70

Wow, 5 degrees is sure cold, Ella. Glad you had a good snowshoe hike. The duck alarm sounds so cute. I am so impressed with Rusty's numbers and even with the FF T & G still looking mighty good. Go Rusty.

Hey Rusty, that was some Snow Full Moon party last night. thanks for having us at Camp Stu. We all had the bestest time and look forward to more parties, Maggie

Hi Ella - sorry to be so late in visiting! Sounds like Rusty was busy, maybe even doing some diving. His numbers are so great. He really needs to come and teach Mannie how to keep them in line like that. :-D
Nice on your hike! I simply must get some snowshoes! We have some very good places here for that - although one does have to drive a ways to get to them :? I hope Edwards strained muscle is better. Sounds like the boys had some quality time at home together.

Thanks for checking in with Mannie today while I was gone.

Rusty! DUDE! Guess bunks made it home OK in his shoe.... that was the weirdest thing, and so Binks. See ya! ~~ Mannie

quite the day for Rusty! What gorgeous numbers , I wonder if he is angling for another reduction!

I'm glad you had a good hike. Named after Jackrabbit Johanson by any chance?
