Gracie's Yesterday

TGIF again!! Hope it's a good one. Lots of healing vines to all those ailing kitties today and hugs for their beans!
YAY!!! We got the serum bile assay test done today
Yesterday didn't pan out because she was supposed to be fasted...which we did but she stole one teeny tiny piece of freeze dried chicken from Gus when he flicked it off his plate. So today...everything went great. I had to shoot 30 mins late so she wouldn't be without food too long, then took her to vet, they got the blood drawn, and I had to feed her the entire a.m. portion of food at +1. Then we waited two hours, took her back, they did the second blood draw, brought her home and gave her a little snack with her supplements. She did awesome...she is so good at the vet. The first trip didn't seem to impact her BG so I'm hoping the second won't either and she'll continue down. She's been such a trooper this morning and in such great spirits despite the waiting to eat, the two trips to the vet, LUPITA holding her :lol: :lol: :lol: , etc.
I normally do Hatha yoga but decided to try Kundalini this morning as I do like chanting and they chant. So I was in lotus, chanting, eyes closed, and then I felt Gracie pressed against my back. I opened my eyes and Tobey was pressed against my thigh....I actually think they also get benefit from the vibrations of chanting (which is the purpose....the vibrations are really good for you). Mike does this :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :YMSIGH: but I mean they were really getting into it and they stayed right there with me while I did the practice. And of course, Gracie helped me end it by doing corpse pose again with me :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
Not sure yet what the day holds....depends on Missy G. We need to go get Gussie fuds but we'll have to see how the baby girl's BG does. Have a wonderful day.
