Good evening

3rd cycle on the new dose (1.5U). Poor Fistuk was without food from +4.5 when DH left for work until +01 when I got back from work. he waited for me by the door and explained his situation

Now that I'm not so much at home it's difficult to follow the bakery opening times. Do you think it's creepy if I install cameras in front of the toilet box?

I don't think he's constipated but I'd like to know how he's doing in that department.

Fistuk's walk is a little bit more stable and he stretches his hind legs more by himself. Last night he had a doolally moment and he jumped up on the sofa. Or maybe he couldn't resist the temptation to get up the sofa to read Alice Miler (a psychotherapist I love).

Cameras are a great thing. I check in on Ivy all the tine just to make sure she's behaving, or see if she's napping.

Fistuk had some nice ideas about Alice's book and he told me he gets why I like her so much
Thank you for your kind appreciation. It feels like a treasure when pieces of his old self come out and he's lively and curious.
I will get some cameras soon. I do think it's a good idea I get to see when he goes to the box and just that I have a sense of where he is.
I think we need another cycle or two to see how he's using this dose.

I know what you mean, Shelly. And speaking of cameras, last night I was watching Ivy on the camera from the other room and noticed her hopping around in her room rolling around with a blanket. I never would’ve seen it had I not happened to open the camera to see what she was doing. It was such a joy to watch her being silly, like her younger self.
I remember when she was a kitten, and she climbed a window treatment in my bedroom. My husband, who never really had cats before, was horrified to see her do that. I was hysterical, thinking it was the funniest thing I’d ever seen.
It is so wonderful when we see them doing something that reminds us of when they were younger and had more energy.

I never would’ve seen it had I not happened to open the camera to see what she was doing. It was such a joy to watch her being silly, like her younger self.

I'm happy to hear you caught Ivy in such a beautiful moment. I know what you mean about getting a glimpse of how they were.
Cats can be so funny and do the strangest things. I'm happy your DH had the chance to get to know the fascinating world of cats through you.

Since I work with kids and I'm not allowed to have my phone with me I won't be able to look at him all the time though I know exactly the danger you're talking about

I love Alice Miller's work, Karolina. She was a big advocate for children's rights at a time when corporal punishment and humiliation was 'normal'. She's a fierce personality

I have cameras on several of my cats...I do hate the concept of 'Big Brother' but it really eases my anxiety about them, especially when monitoring health and behavior conditions. HUGS....have a safe weekend! to Fistuk (he's sooo cute in that picture) and to his brother Prince too!
