I am so glad we didn’t use any R last night! Just look at the way Miss Weezer cleared that bounce yesterday! Bouncing off of green to pink and back into blue (and a low blue at that!) within 24 hours! I would like to thank Mr. Liver for reassuring us that he is on the job, and for quickly recognizing that we are too. There was very little difference between the +10 and AMPS. This is her lowest preshot to date. I shot her full dose and will get a +1 out-the-door to make sure she isn’t falling. After that DH will be watching and testing.

Wishing a kitty day for all, plenty of purrs, play, sunny spots and lots of love.

What an amazing day! Weezer spent at least 12 hours in blue today. I guess she is starting a bounce now, but so far it's really tame. I was able to get a urine glucose test tonight. It surprised me that there was still glucose in her urine. The strip read at between 1 - 2; 2 being the highest level on the strip.

Although I'm not intimately familiar working with glucose test strips - I gotta say I'm surprised as well.

aw, that's a nice motion. they have to work really hard to get those blues, so i think that's super! i'll start. :mrgreen:

the only thing i wonder about with the glucose strips is that urine accumulates over a period of time, so perhaps its a little bit of a delayed response. i wonder if you did one tonight if it would still show glucose. i have heard some speculation about different cats having different thresholds on what is too much glucose for their kidneys to process, ie, at what point it spills over into the urine.
