I ended up giving Tessa some medium carb food last night because her numbers were pretty low early on in the cycle and I was worried that they would continue to drop. I tried to stay up and test her but after the +3 she started hiding from me.
I got one last test at +3.5 and then gave her some medium carb (Sheba cuts which are 13% carbs). I put a normal low carb meal in one side of the timed feeder and a half low and half medium carb meal in the other half (the one that opens later). I felt awful going to sleep not knowing whether her numbers would drop too low but I also didn't want to keep dragging her out of her safe spots to test her.
Thankfully her AMPS was 71 so I don't think she went too low but I can't be completely sure. She's probably going to bounce today.
