Shooting a bit later than we'll end up doing, I'm preparing his condo now so I can get straight out for the rabbit run after we shoot.

So far so good :) Purrdy is very sociable so he talks a lot when I'm not sitting in with him, even with all the chattering coming from that room Vyktor is studiously pretending like nothing's going on (domestic deafness ;)) and is not at all stressed. After an initial foot stamp to let him know whose the boss Meg rabbit seems quite unconcerned. When I'm bringing Purrdy into the kitchen for his tests she's not moving from wherever she happens to be lying on the way. I even held Purrdy about 50 cm away from her on our way back from a test last night and no one got the least bit upset :)

My finger is throbbing a little from where he chomped me - the second time! I have quickly learnt to immediately wash the juice off my hand after I handle his meat treat :woot:

Time to get his dose ready now bbl

Nice blues last night and this morning. It sounds like things are going well. I wonder when Vyktor will pay attention to Purrdy? LOL

Sensational! Nice numbers. No fuss over the interloper. OK, a little finger chomping, but in the scheme of things.....Sensational.

Yea Purrdy. And Vyktor. And Meg. Oh, and the bean!

Of course Meg is the boss. Isn't that the way in all bunny/kitty households?

Purrdy is doing really well after that travel. And Vyktor, well silence is better than hissing.

@carfurby wonder no more and @Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) you forgot to anti-jinx - the peaceable kingdom is over - well a little disturbed anyway.

I have two back doors right next to each other, one to Purrdy's digs and one to the rest of the house. When I'm doing the Meg run I leave the back door open so Meg can race back in if she feels the need and so Vyktor can come and go. Vyktor decided to stop ignoring Purrdy and came out to peer at him through the other back door from a short distance away. I was further back in the yard with meg and very impressed until I heard growling. I assumed it was coming from Vyktor and told him to stop being silly and told Purrdy what a good boy he was for not paying attention.

Then Meg went near Vyktor and he gave her a good hiss - she paid attention and left him be.

Later, Vyktor was hanging out in the kitchen when I brought Purrdy in for his +3 and Purrdy started growling and even threw in a few hisses for good measure while Vyktor paid no attention - I now suspect I was blaming the wrong one earlier and told Purrdy he was a good boy for growling :banghead:

Never mind, although he growled through his test he really didn't seem too upset and didn't look like turning on me at all. He was pretty funny, the instant I put him back in his room the growling stopped and he gave me a little 'who me' meow

I'm Purrdy's mother, and I want the world to know what an amazing daughter I have. She's taken annual leave, rearranged her home, reorganised her life, risked upsetting her animals and taken on responsibility for a diabetic cat to accommodate one Purrdy. I do hope he appreciates his sister bean - and his little niece, of the rabbit variety, and feline nephew!

And thank you all on the forum for your continued support.

Diane

Hello Diane :cat:, So glad you stopped in- both your life and Serryn's lives have both been turned upside down but you do it for love of your furbabies- I bow down to you both! :bighug::bighug:

Well that's a little embarrassing mum but thank you  what she doesn't realise is that most of you guys would do the same ;)

Thanks to everyone that convinced me to put the patience pants on - tonight is his second lowest PMPS to date :) looks like he likes Perth! Took him out for a walk this afternoon which he enjoyed, he sniffs everything very thoroughly like a drooler! You wouldn't really notice his neuropathy in the way that he walks now if you weren't looking for it - go zobaline!

@Tiger and Ruth no fur flying just yet but they have had a couple more toe to toes at the back door with both of them growling, Purrdy hissing and Vyktor screeching but really neither of them seems too upset about it, I think they think it's their duty as cats! Will be giving them both the rescue remedy tomorrow to see if that settles them down...

Meg has visited Purrdy's back door a couple of times - I don't think Purrdy really knows what to make of her but no growling or hissing so far. Good move Purrdy because Wendy is right, she is the boss and she will box your ears!
