Help! The insulin was left out all night. Should I not have given him an injection? Do I need to throw it out?

Definitely you should have injected. It is not as fragile as you think. I bet we all have made that mistake. Humans don’t refrigerate their insulin because they use it up quickly. Repeatedly leaving it out might eventually lower its potency but not just from one or even a few overnights.
