Not sure if these higher numbers are a bounce from yesterday's low start or the introduction of a new food. Sophisticat is now changing names to Grreat Choices, and I grabbed some of the big cans of (I think) Supper Supreme. The labels matched exactly, and I didn't see any red flag ingredients (boo hiss to Friskies for now putting rice into so many of their pates). I had picked up some 9 Lives last week, and he did great on that. I don't like it because I think it has the highest water content of any of them, though I do have some coupons that will make the price a bit more tolerable for what you get. We'll be hanging out at s0.5u for a bit regardless.
Herbie woke up with the zoomies earlier. Hoping she comes to bed soon so I can give her the clavamox... she was too fast to chase this morning! Willie is already btb, curled up next to me. One of my throw blankets had ended up under the covers, and with the electric mattress pad, it was toasty warm. He's now quite pleased to be laying on it! I have been noticing something at feeding time. Herbie now will take a few bites of her food, and then will allow Willie to have access to both bowls, and she will then eat when he is finished. Miss Jezebelle always did this as well. The feminist in me is just screaming "don't defer to a man, little mama!" :lol: :lol: :lol: Last night, I was loading the dishwasher after giving them second dinner, and Herbie came in to let me know she's hungry. She has the cutest little meow, but only does it when she's hungry. If she's just saying hi, she whisper meows, and we will sit and go back and forth several times. If she's hungry, it's an adorable little squeak, accompanied by a very gentle climb up my leg until she's fully extended and can paw at my hand. It is really too cute for words. Willie's behavior is making me rethink how I feed them, though... will have to figure out a way to make sure Herbie gets her lysine.
My boss is gone today and I have a doctor's appointment at 3pm. Trying to decide if I should be nice, go in early, and work almost a full day, or head back to sleep for a couple hours and just take leave this afternoon. Decisions, decisions..... I know what Willie's lobbying for! :lol: :lol: :lol:
