Good Morning, Everyone,

Getting in a quick post before I go out to climb a smallish mountain on snowshoes. Had a terrible time last night working on the board: it took over 5 minutes for each page to load, so I finally gave up. If you want to see yesterday's condo, click on the link above.

I decided that Rusty needed that drop put back on, so went back up at PMPS yesterday to a regular 1.25 U (from the skinny 1.25). Already he is back in form. I hope I didn't make the move too soon. Anyway, Rusty had good appetite yesterday, ate all of his nighttime food, this morning had a good test, shot, breakfast (first sitting, since he was eating nighttime food when we got up), and a nap in his little bed by the radiator. It is snowing and 20 degrees. The boys are home alone until +9 or thereabouts. Edward has his instructions (all our food is scattered in various coolers because of the death of our refrigerator). We have to wait another day before plugging in the compact model we bought to hold us over until our new 'fridge is delivered. Everything related to food takes twice as long!!

Wishing everyone a good day. Back this afternoon. Sending vines and good thoughts to all in need of some,

Ella & Rusty

Hi again,

The LagoonMeister is back in the lagoon. The boys had a good day together, and I had a good climb. We didn't need snowshoes because there wasn't much snow, so we wore our microspikes instead. This was a good idea because it was very icy in places (icy rocks and one long icy "staircase/chimney" to navigate). The summit was very windy, with blowing snow and you couldn't see anything-- and the temperature was dropping through the teens. We didn't stay long. I froze my fingers trying to eat some food, and my chemical handwarmers were very slow to activate. But all in all a good climb. It's good to do these things!

Now for a beer (the perfect sports drink!), bbl,

HI Ella,
Sounds like a nice day out there! except for the frozen fingers part....well, the blowing snow.. ok well, you had good company and fun!! I guess one good thing is you don't have to worry about the ice melting in the coolers until your little fridge is up and running. Hugs to you and Edward.. scritches to Rusty!! have a great night xoxo mary and ollie

What a great report and wonderful day (except for the fridge)!! I'm glad you were able to get out and enjoy the day - living vicariously through your winter since we had another sunny 60 degree T-shirt day. But, it was nice to be able to get out and enjoy it, too, before the rain comes tomorrow.

Have a great night -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)
