Re-Grouping on his food migration.

Had increased his food volume (extra 1/8 can) since Merrick has few kcals per can and was migrating. But will not introduce the extra food until he is 3/4 of the way through migration. I think his higher number might have been a food spike.

Hi Rich and Rex,

Just wanted to pop by your condo and say hi and see how you guys were doing with the food. What's your reasoning for chooing Merrick's? I'm just wondering because I know the Merrick's is one of the few brands that has high protein and wanted to suggest also checking out the Tiki brands if that's what you're looking for.

Hi R Team!
I just wanted to say Hi since we haven't met. "HI". Good luck with the food change. Have a great night! - mary and oliver

Hi KPassa,

Our vet suggested staying away from Tiki b/c rex is Siamese and that breed does not naturally eat fish. I did research Tiki, they are great in the low carbs department, but they all have fish. He had a sore in his mouth last year, and we think he might be allergic to food with fish.

Any feedback would be awesome!

Thanks So Much,
R&R

I try to stay away from seafood, as well, but I was specifically thinking of the Puka Puka Luau and the Koolina Luau, which are chicken mostly. I say mostly because they do have fish oil, but it looks like fish oil might not be a problem since it doesn't contain any fish proteins?
