Good morning.

Mikan surprised me with the green AMPS.
I agonized over how much to shoot - she has a history of going really low when shoot this low. But I didn't want to set her back by giving her too little. :nailbiting:
I have a full day today at work - I can monitor til +2.5 and come home for +5. But then, I have to go back out to work for the rest of the cycle. DH will be home and able to feed her (act as an auto-feeder).

I figured that in the end, it's a judgement call.
Given all these, I settled with 3U. Just a little BCS.

We shall see how things turn out today.

Funny how our minds work - when I saw the AMPS, my thought was "Today?"
Like I can schedule her BGs :p
I got all kinds of HCs ready, just in case: 15%, 19%, 24%!
Of course, then she goes up to 116 at +1:rolleyes: But this is likely a feint move with the food bump.
A day like this, I wish time went much quicker to like +8 where she would be most likely safe :p

I know what you mean. I think they do these drops at just the most stressful times for US!! Like, really, now, today???

Also, what 24% do you use? I don’t have anything that high.

I know exactly what you mean with them scheduling their low AMPS on days we have to work. Been there, done that and it's always so nerve-wracking. I trust she will stay safe today while you're gone.

Hi Karolina,
Glad to see Mikan holding up at 54 @+5.
DH will give her some MC at +6 and she should be fine then.
It sure felt dicey for a while though :smuggrin:
Now the question is whether Mikan the Jumper will find her fav trampoline. :rolleyes:

Yup, Jason. Isn't this so ironic - we want them to be low, yet the low comes; it's nerve-wracking! :rolleyes:
I immediately thought of my schedule, and became a freaky chicken. Technically, it wasn't Big Chicken Sh*t (BCS) dose, it was Little Chicken Sh*t (LCS) dose :p
But I'm glad I did - she did go down to the 40s but not too low. Plan to go back up to the regular 3.5U this evening!

Mikan had a beautiful AM cycle. Looks like she's found her trampoline meow but that's Ok. That means you can get some well deserved sleep tonight and get ready for tomorrow. She might be busy again in the AM cycle.

I did! I had a bit of extra sleep last night :) and I feel GOOD this morning ;)
Back at 3.5U now - not sure if it takes time to restore everything but she is starting at a decent place 206!
Hope we can get down to beach to play with Nestle! :bighug:

It was pretty mellow last night. Thank goodness - I was able to go to bed a little early. And boy, I needed that! :p
I told Mikan not to scare me like that 47 but she apparently wanted to see what's down under the sea :rolleyes:
I hope that she will soon learn how not to dive but coast nicely in the greens!

I know. Coast is the right word. Dive needs to be removed from their cat language. And bounce. 2 naughty words for FD kitties. o_O
I’m really glad you slept. What a wonderful thing!
I actually was in bed by 9:30 also. I figured if Ivy was just high, see ya.
It’s so rare to be able to do that. DH looked at me like I was a bit nutty when I said I was going to sleep. (but he’s not the one getting up at 5:30 so ….bye).
Hope today is good….and boring! :rolleyes::bighug::bighug:
