We got his stitches out - his doctor said the incision looks great and gave Kai the green light to go shirtless from now on, which he is extremely happy about. I’m still processing the cancer diagnosis, though his doctor said to consider him in remission. Nothing much to report otherwise, aside from a bounce this morning, but he came back down some today. For now, we’re just trucking along with that fat dose of insulin.

That diagnosis is a lot to digest, I’ve been in your shoes. Sending tons of positive thoughts your way that the surgery was a 100% success and that the big C is in the rear view mirror to never be seen again.
