Hi hi, not sure if I've introduced myself before and said hello....so HII! Those are some nice blues for Junior...I'm still going back and forth with Kit...some days we're yellow, last night low green. It's oh so much fun!

Was taking a peek at your SS and noticed that you give methyl b-12 twice a day 3mg? How curious at how Junior's neuropathy was before and whether you've noticed a difference? Kitten's was pretty pronounced (then again, I'm not too sure what "bad" is cuz I have nothing to compare it too, but it seemed super awful) - he was able to still walk but he was slipping all over the place and couldn't stand for more than a couple of steps. We give 5mg but only in the morning (came in 5mg tablets). Do you crush it? We've been putting the whole pill in his food and he eats it, but I'm wondering (since it's a sublingual) if he's by chance not even chewing it, if that would make a difference. I guess he seems a LITTLE teeny bit better, but some days it really does seem like he's exactly the same. I heard that becoming regulated with lower BG numbers also help...so it's possible that things still look the same cuz he's still all over the place with his numbers.

Anyways, was just curious of your experience!

Keep up those nice blues Junior!! Have a great rest of the evening!

Hi Lillian & Kit

Love the name, My Aunt's name!

Regarding the methyl, I only give it once a day, if it says twice in my SS. my mistake.
I give it to him every morning in his morning meal. 1 Tab, CRUSHED UP!!! and sprinkled on his wet Fancy Feast! and I also mix a teaspoon of water with his every meal, don't know why, just do! and he likes it wetter...he is now walking very well, actually tried to jump up on the dining room table last night, didn't quite make it, but he hasn't tried that since before he was diagnosed last June! it was terrible to watch him try to walk, and only go a few steps and have to sit to rest, and his back was hunched over, he looked so sad, I carried him all over the house when able, especially the stairs. even went and got a new litter system, the old one used non-clumping litter, which would stick to his hind legs after urinating, no strength to hold his butt up! and then I would have to wash his legs each night to get rid of the litter that was stuck on him. he didn't like it and neither did I!

and of course, lower numbers should help too! but, I still swear by the methyl helping most of all!

Good Luck with your Kit!

Junior & Kay say have a great day!
