Yesterday's thread http://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5281
Started canned food last night, Fancy Feast gluten free varieties, and picked up some freeze dried treats. Gave Joe and his non-diabetic brother each 1/2 can last night and they both cleaned their plates. Left a little dry food and it was gone this morning. Gave each a full can this morning and both cleaned their plates again. Getting them to eat it won't be a problem, just need to figure out how much to give them.
Joe has a vet visit today at noon. I suspect she's going to suggest a doseage increase.
---Update---
281 at the vet. Just saw the tech for a quick blood test and the vet is supposed to call me next week about running a curve at the office. I asked if I could run it at home and the tech said theirs is more accurate but she did write it on the chart to include in the report to the Dr. Hopefully I'll have enough data by the time she calls to convince her that the office curve isn't needed.
