Happy Friday, friends! I hope it's nice and easy on you, with safe surfing for your sweet kitties.
Gen seems to be doing rather well on this dose so far! I hate how much data I lost yesterday (from not one, but two failed Libres; i had to do a second installation around midnight, and now I'm out of backups, ugh) ... but what I do have looks pretty good. He had a green nadir last night, but he doesn't seem to be bouncing! And he's not plunging either; so far, this is a fairly gentle downward slide. So nice to see. I just hope he keeps eating well; I was late to work and immediately had a meeting, so I haven't been able to keep an eye on him as much.
The vet appointment was good; we checked in about how I'm managing his meds and recent inappetence, went over a few other things (he doesn't have a UTI, which she had thought was a possibility, so that's one less medication to worry about), and confirmed that as of now, he's good to wait for his ultrasound appointment a week from today.
It's going to be a return to subarctic deep freeze this weekend, but I really need to catch up on sleep, so it's not bad timing to just be at home curled up with the cat! Here's hoping we can do without any fun new surprises for a bit.
