Good morning!

Yesterday's thread.

After coming home last night to a sweet 62, looks like Cargo earned a NS this morning! However due to my vacation, he's now earned a NS for the next few days. Fingers crossed we don't take 2 steps back while I'm away. :nailbiting:

Lots of slow eye blinks and happy trills to everyone! :joyful:

I don't think you're far off...maybe not quite there just yet, imho. Others with more experience might have a different opinion.

Per the Earning Reductions & Starting OTJ Trials thread, the numbers we want to see in order for Cargo to start an OTJ trial are as follows:

Prior to starting an OTJ trial, one wants to see kitty mostly in the range of a healthy cat (50 - 80 mg/dL), but under 100 overall... with only occasional readings in the 100 - 120 range.
Remission is achieved when kitty can go 14 days without insulin while maintaining normal blood glucose values under 100 overall. Most will stay in the 50 - 80mg/dL range. Although, some will occasionally experience BG numbers up to 120 mg/dL.
