2/6 Arnie AMPS 376 QUESTION???

Can ANYONE explain this to me? He was at 123 three hours ago..and jumped up to 376 between 6:30AM and 9:30AM? :cry:
All of the P's are in place and I know he didn't get into anything so.....trying real hard now not to cuss...... :roll:

That would be my guess too. We know he has seen 40's on this dose at least twice, and for all we know he could be going lower than that.

That sounds logical and is the ONLY answer that I can think of that makes sense!
I was considering raising the dose but now I am thinking maybe I should reduce it.
I will try to get some spot checks in this week and we will be starting a new cartridge
soon too. I have wasted so much insulin from this cartridge it has been ridiculous!!
I keep getting air bubbles and wind up wasting anywhere from 5-15 units everytime
plus 1-3 syringes...this has happened before and when I started the next cartridge
I didn't have the problem anymore. I don't know what causes this but it is frustrating
not to mention expensive!!
