AMPS 327, 4th cycle @1.75u, 1.4oz 11%, 1/16t Miralax, 2.5mg pepcid, 1/4PP
+1 343, 0.7oz 11%

Zener is doing very well this morning. I went to get his +1 and he did a BIG STRETCH! We stopped the reglan yesterday after slight head tremors and throat scratching. The head tremors were probably caused by the reglan but we're not sure about the scratching. He is eating well and he did the Happy Crap Dash after coming in from his yard inspection. The poo patrol was shockingly lax and is not able to report a sighting. We did not start the ondansetron. Karrie has suggested another motility drug, cisapride, that has been stopped for hoomins but still works for cats. Here is the link that she sent to me. Thank you, Karrie! It is nice to have options if Zener has future problems.

Everything went very well at the wheelchair rugby tournament in Phoenix. Anne says there is a brand spanking new sports facility for disabled folks and it is spectacular! A bunch of PT students from NAU were there and they got to see and participate in the classification of athletes. They were pumped about that. :-D :-D Anne should be home around noonish today. Me and the kitties will sure be glad to see her! Especially Tillie. She does not like her family to be separated. :-D Happy Sunday, LL. Thinking of ailing kitties, beans and droolers, especially Melissa and Blue, and Sid and Lydia.

Marje: Yes, Gracie is a femme but she definitely has an inner butch.
Julie: We agree, you have to be an expert in everything these days.
Serryn: Thanks for visiting. He is doing great!
Liz

Re: 2/5 Zener AMPS 327;+1 343

I missed your condo yesterday about the wheelchair rugby tournament. What fun is that!!!

Glad Zener is feeling well today, doing his thing after the outside "bizness"! Have a great day and hope y'all enjoy your day together once everyone is home.

Re: 2/5 Zener AMPS 327;+1 343

Morning everyone!

It is nice to read that Zener is doing well this morning. :-D I love long kitty stretches!   on the Happy Crap Dash. That always cracks me up. Mannie does his business and then casually walks away. He's so laid back about everything.

Good luck with the meds - wish I could help, but it really is so out of my realm of experience and knowledge. I hope the stopping of the reglan will take care of the tremors.

Enjoy your day today!

Re: 2/5 Zener AMPS 327;+1 343

He might be pink but compared to some of the other colours he's been throwing around that's improvement - maybe some sunny yellow today Zener?

Re: 2/5 Zener AMPS 327;+1 343

So glad this is a better day for Zener and with the Reglan stopped no more head tremors.
  on the Happy Crap Dash. So funny visualing the whole effect! I bet you all will be glad to have your family together with Anne's return. Have a relaxing day, Liz

Re: 2/5 Zener AMPS 327;+1 343

It's great to hear Zener is feeling well, stretches and happy crap dashes, etc.! But what's up with the lax poo patrol? You wouldn't want to have a reprimand in your purrsonnel file, now would you?

As pinks go, not so bad. Just a bit of effort would turn it into yellow. How about it Zener?

Re: 2/5 Zener AMPS 327;+1 343

Glad to hear Zenner is feeling better and I hope he is soon off the meds all together.

  On the "happy crap dash" love the name, but I know exactly what you are talking about. I always worry that Tess is trying to shake something off though.

Re: 2/5 Zener AMPS 327;+1 343

Morning Bootiful Zener! Glad you got rid of those head shakes...makes things shake when you try to look at them. That upsets my tummy when I get shaky and try to focus on something. Maybe it does the same thing to you.

Anne/Liz - BIG hug for both of you. I just love your condos - they always leave me with a big grin. (unless Zener's sick that is...)

Re: 2/5 Zener AMPS 327;+1 343;+2 307;+3 254;+4.5 260;+6.5 27

Glad Zener is feeling better today! Crap dash cracks me up. What a sweet boy. Nice yellows. Of course Tillie wants you all together.

The facility sounds amazing. Glad Anne had fun and made it home safely. Have a great night!

Re: 2/5 Zener AMPS 327;+1 343;+2 307;+3 254;+4.5 260;+6.5 27

*snicker* gracie has an inner butch side?

laughing more at the happy crap dance - that's such a perfect description of what our felix used to do. do his business in the box and then run away as quickly as he could. ah, cats. love em.

very cool on the new sports facility!

thanks for the daily giggle! :-D

Re: 2/5 Zener PMPS 274;+1 291

I'm home, and all the pussies are together again! dancing_cat
Today
2/5/12 Zener
AMPS 327, 4th cycle @1.75u, 1.4oz 11%, 1/16t Miralax, 2.5mg pepcid, 1/4PP
+1 343, 0.7oz 11%
+2 307, 0.55oz 11%
+3 254, 3mg Zobaline & 3/4PP, 1 treat, 0.4oz 11%
+4.5 260, 0.45oz 11%, NEG KETONES
+6.5 271, 0.75oz 11%
+9 FDCK
PMPS 274, 5th cycle @1.75u, 1.65oz 11%
+1 291, 0.5oz 11%, 1/16t Miralax

Not a big food spike at +1 so will get early cycle checks just to be sure. It's been a flat yellow day so there could be some action. This is Zener's 5th cycle at this dose, so if there isn't a bit more action with this dose another dosecrease is in the near future.

I sure hate to be gone these days, and it is really tough when something happens, like this weekend. Zener scratched a little at his throat around his +1 but just for a few seconds, then he heard rattling of food bowls in the kitchen and stopped to pop his head up and watch for a treat. No head tremors today. We did not give him any ondansetron as he is eating well. It sure makes things easier without having to give all those extra meds!

The afternoon poo patrol had a successful spotting! Right before we are leaving for our yoga class, otherwise known as our kitty stretching class, Zener is out in his backyard heading for his favorite backyard poo places looking like he is on a mission. Liz spots the business in progress and marks it for me to inspect. I check it out after we get home, very healthy color and consistency - no longer dog sized, but perfect kitty size. Paws crossed the regular use of a small dose of Miralax will keep him from getting constipated and prevent motility issues again. Seems many of the drugs we've tried with him since his dental have only created secondary problems!

Thanks to all who have stopped by today and over the weekend to help Liz with Zener's latest symptoms. We could not be doing this without you all! :YMHUG:

@Georgia - Zener did another happy crap dash tonight! ;-) Wheelchair rugby is a very fun sport. If you want to learn more about it, check out the documentary Murderball.

@Michelle & Mannie - so far so good with no reglan and no tremors. The poo patrol had success this afternoon! We are so happy to see Zener's legs feeling strong enough for a dash! :-D

@Serryn - it's been a sunny yellow day! :razz:

@Ann & Maggie - we are glad to be all together again and it has been a good day for Zener. cat_pet_icon

@Linda - the poo patrol got down to business this afternoon, no reprimands issued!

@Ann & Tess - we have paws crossed that no more meds will be needed, other than pepcid and miralax. Zener is sometimes trying to shake something off.

Re: 2/5 Zener PMPS 274;+1 291;+2 258

Late to the party, but very happy to hear that Zener is feeling good again.

Welcome home, Anne! Glad the tournament was a success.

Have a great evening,

Re: 2/5 Zener PMPS 274;+1 291;+2 258

Lots of happy crap dashes in LL today

Very sunny day for Zener...glad he is doing better overall. And welcome home ANNE!!! Sounds like the trip was great.

Gracie asked me to send you her stink eye picture but I told her not on Super Bowl Sunday

Well poo, here's the end to our sunny yellow day.
PMPS 274, 5th cycle @1.75u, 1.65oz 11%
+1 291, 0.5oz 11%, 1/16t Miralax
+2 258, 1.05oz 11%
+3 297, 0.6oz 11%
+3.5 0.5oz 11%
+5 343, 0.55oz 11%

@Ella - it's never too late to come to our party. ;-) Zener has had a very good day. :-D

@Marje - thanks for the welcome home, it was a very successful trip. I cancelled my trip for this coming weekend, still not fully recovered from my cold and my ears/head will explode if I have to fly. No need to postpone the stink eye for stupor bowl for us. We didn't even know it was happening.

The not so good news is - we're pink in mid-cycle. The good news is - Zener's appy is good and he had a very good day. No tremors, no scratching, happy crap dash, less peeing and drinking and he is asking for food. We shall see how numbers do tomorrow, but if still in the pinks and yellows, another dosecrease is coming. We could go up as early as tomorrow night, depending on his numbers, but both of us have a busy morning Wed and are a little concerned about monitoring. So, dosecrease may have to be postponed until Wed evening, we'll see... And of course, we still try to plan, will we ever learn?

Right now, he is tucked away in bed with MamaBean Liz and I will be there soon. Ni ni LL. I-) I-)
