He didn't bounce as high as I'd thought he would overnight. Fingers crossed he has a good day today.
Great minds think alike. I just got out some HC FF just in case. Figured I could give him a tsp before I left. My vet is only 10 minutes away so I wouldn't be gone all that long...I had a cat with stomatitis and it can be awful for them. I hope it isn't that...Glad Wally's sliding back down but sorry bout the timing - any chance you could leave food out if he's not leveling off? something like a teaspoon or two of MC or HC just to keep him safe while you are out?
Sorry about your other kitty - hope you can get him seen![]()
Sorry just checking in - those last two readings are fairly flat and I would have done the same as you with extra HC since you are heading out. Hope everything goes smoothly at the vet for your other kitty.Gave him more HC FF gravy after his +4.25 (down again but it might not have been enough time for the HC to kick in) and hope that this gets a rise in his numbers as I head out to the vet.
They ALWAYS know when we have plansHow ironic?
Back from the vet and it was not good news. My boy, Sebastian, had had a very large tumor removed from his tongue about 1.5 years ago. My vet said the only way she was able to operate was because he has the longest tongue she'd even seen in a cat! It biopsied negative and he responded well to steroids. Well - it's back with a vengeance. The vet said his tongue is necrotic and swollen. He's back on steroids and got a shot of antibiotics. Gets rechecked in 2 weeks. She said that because he responded so well the last time she has her fingers crossed that he'll do it again. If not - I don't know what she'll be able to do...Sorry just checking in - those last two readings are fairly flat and I would have done the same as you with extra HC since you are heading out. Hope everything goes smoothly at the vet for your other kitty.
