Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is back on his normal shot schedule and back to a good AMPS! We had a good morning routine and also a weigh-in: 16 lbs., 10.5 oz. (he lost the 3.5 oz. he had gained--yay! must be all that energetic playing). We had a good game this morning with the sack and the wand and now he is chillaxin' on his cushion by the radiator. It was 0 degrees this morning, but expected to go up to the 20s. Nothing much on the agenda today: the usual walk and then some relaxation before the "big game", which I will watch some of (until "Downton Abbey" begins). Ice Carnival is proceeding. Last night there were fireworks when the Ice Palace was lit (we could see the fireworks from the road, across the lake from the Palace). We missed seeing the "Ladies' Frying Pan Toss" this year (I thought it was to be next Saturday). The same woman wins every year! The skillets are "regulation" cast-iron.

YAY!! Green amps for Rusty! Well done dude, no surf nicely for your bean. It is great to see that amps this morning. I bet you are glad to be back on schedule. :-D

nice too on the Ice Carnival. And the fireworks - better that you could see them from the road, and didn't have to travel. I bet that skillet toss is something to see. :-D

This ice carnival of yours is just amazing, I am thoroughly enjoying all your stories about it, and the pix yesterday.

No, we don't have an ice sculpture contest, but there's a lot of ice this year--just not much snow.

Rusty is taking up where he left off before we went to NYC. We're keeping an eye on him!

Ella, your winter carnival sounds like more fun than ours. The fireworks sounds nice. I couldn't see ours from my house tho. Around these parts, the 'Great Chili Cookoff is the favorite part. :lol:

Sounds like your winter carnival is lots of fun and you're having beautiful weather for it too.

What a great cycle today for Rusty and back on schedule. Good report with the weight and the playing and exercise sure helps. Do you have a special kitty scale to weigh Rusty? Your Ice Carnival sounds so fun; the Ladies' Frying Pan Toss would be fun to watch.

16 lbs., 10.5 oz. :shock: Wow, Rusty is a BIG BOY! And having some great cycles today. Gotta love that. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Thank you for thinking of Zener - we sure appreciate your support for our guy.

SuperBowl is over and NY won a close game. I watched some of it and it was pretty exciting, but "Downton Abbey" won out!!

Everyone have a good night. Rusty is heading to the lagoon to surf and party. It looks like he'll have some company tonight.

great cat ice sculpture, Ann. Where was that pic taken?
 
Well, I just googled cat + ice, :lol: :lol: but i just checked and it was from the St Paul Winter Carnival. They have an ice sculpture contest every year. We had St Paul Chamber Orchestra season tickets. After concerts during the winter, we walked to dinner afterwards, through the ice sculpture display in the park. :-D :-D :-D Magical!

So I have to laugh..we are two hours behind and we had also tivo'd the Super Bowl so we could do our usual evening routines, etc. So we're still watching it and then I just read on your condo that NY won!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Mike wants to know but I won't tell him.

I just started watching the 2011 Downton, and I'm hooked! I have this year's on TiVo awaiting my arrival on the couch...in my spare time! I will have to look back at the ice. Nice day, Rusty.
