Good morning!
Another public pooing in the LB today! (I keep telling her that I like flowers, cards, and candy, but I guess her stinky prezzie is what I'm getting. :lol: It's better than no prezzie!)
And she greeted me in the tub, asking for water!
She did, however, stumble on her way out of it and fell back in. Poor baby. The other day she tripped getting out of the LB, too. :sad:

An observation: Both my kitties were in the bathroom to greet me this morning; when I turned on the light, my civvie squinted w/that 'It's too bright!' look, while Ripley's eyes didn't seem affected by the sudden brightness. Still big and round, with no squinting. Hmmm. Might be nothing. Just a note to file away in my already-crowded brain..


I'm looking forward to Ripley being off her sugar-sweet-bubble-gum-flavored AB in about a week.
Her numbers are 'tainted' with this treatment, and I can't wait for her to be normal again (numbers-wise, at least).

The last thing I thought of before I fell asleep, and the first thing I thought of when I awoke was the touching post from Shai about savoring Pirate-time.
My heart goes out to all ailing kitties, and especially their beans.
Hug your kitties, folks.
And savor savor savor.

Hooray for public pooing!, I think. Prezzies are prezzies after all. ;-) :lol:

I remember thinking that too when Mannie has been on AB's - one cannot wait until they are done, until Numbers are back. Go Ripley! not too bad of a start today either. Interesting on the bathroom light thing.

I agree about Shai's post - what a great message, too. I hope this last week of AB's goes by quickly, I know how stressful that can be. I've got 2 cats on them right now, but only for a few more days. Have a great day Josie!

Thank you for stopping by, Michelle, Devon, Michelle, and Anne!

My DH took care of Ripley's shot/AB/dinner tonight so that I could go out to dinner with a girlfriend! It was so nice to go out at a normal dinner time ~ usually, if I do go out it has to be later due to Ripley's s-l-o-w eating. I felt like a normal person! I'm sad that he was home because he's sick, but happy that he took care of her for me. It was also a good test run for my upcoming trip (only 4 more sleeps!). And everyone survived. (I did have a minor heart attack when, prior to leaving for dinner I asked him to show me .75u on the syringe and he pointed to 7. Eek!)
