Numbers looking good this morning, BUT he also started vomiting again today. Got his pepcid in him and picking up some baby food to get him to eat again...hopefully. Will also be giving him fluids when I get home so he doesn't dehydrate.

Feeling stuck between a rock and a hard place. I think it's the Methimazole that's upsetting his tummy, even though we lowered the dose. But if he comes off it the hyperthyroidism will kill him. Praying he levels out again if not I won't let him suffer.

Could you talk to your vet about transdermal gel for the methimazole to bypass the stomach ? The transdermal will not upset the stomach. It is pricier than the pills.

I'll talk to her, but I had read a bunch of posts on a vet site about even the transdermal causing nausea. But I'll still talk to her and I thank you for the suggestion! He's doing alittle better now and I'm hoping he'll perk up more once his body absorbs the fluids. He's one tough Dude!
