Happy Super Bowl Sunday LL!! Yes, it's time for our monthly condo again.
Sending prayers and healing vines to all who need them. I am still lurking quite regularly, and tho I don't comment often, know that I am following along in the happiness, confusion, and sadness that is our LL family.
Muffin gave me a wonderful 56 this morning - even interrupted her breffis to come get tested when she heard me getting ready. She's such a sweet sweet girl, and I am so blessed to have her (and all my others) in my life. Muffin is feeling great lately, getting back to being a bit more frisky again. I'm sure you all remember how she knocks her dish on the floor when she's hungry. Well, last week she knocked it on the floor....FULL of food!
 Then she proceeded to eat the mess off the floor, much to the drooler's disdain  I guess she was really feeling wild that day, and wanted to eat off the floor... That was a first for her. Right now she's sitting on my lap, purring and putting today's holes in my thigh.
We bought a laser pointer for the gang. Below are the kittens playing with it. At the end of the first video, you can see Muffin come in the room, so the second video has a bit of her playing with it, before the kittens take over again.

OT: In other news, my vet named me Client of the Year 2011!
They sent me a very nice thank you card and gave me a $350 credit on my account. dancing_cat So in return, I'm using some of that money to buy them a new digital scale for each of the 2 main exam rooms. They have ancient scales (non-digital) and everyone hates them. I don't like not knowing exactly what my babies are weighing. He has such good prices, he's obviously not there to make money, he's there because he loves what he does, and so cannot really afford to upgrade non-essential things like that, so this will be a win-win situation!
January 30 was my 48th birthday, and I've decided to go back to school to become a vet tech! I'm looking into options and expenses now. I may do a veterinary assistant program online (much cheaper) to start with and go from there. It's been a great many years since I've done any schoolwork!
The other cats in the family are all healthy and happy. Shnookie needs to go in for his 6 month check up on his heart murmur (actually should have gone in last month), but he's looking and acting great. He's down to 18 lbs 4 oz and is much more active than he used to be. He even hopped the fence a couple weeks ago! At the beginning of his diet, he would get ON the fence, but I would have to take him down - now he does it himself! The other morning I woke up with Rumpy (drooler), Kibby, Shnookie, Oscar and Cleetus all in the bed with me, so first on the list of things to buy this year is a king size bed!
