oh insert heavy sigh here ----> :YMSIGH: Yesterday was BOUNCY DAY in MannieLand, and so he did. PINK everywhere. Though.... in all fairness I was gone all day and well maybe he did find the other floors, the lower floors, and I missed it. Hmmmmmm - I see this furry face looking up at me nodding rather excitedly. Perhaps in light of this new evidence I should cut him some slack and say.... I missed most of his morning cycle, and there probably was some blue in it. Lubs ya big guy - no matter what color you are. cat_pet_icon

All i well in MannieLand. :-D :-D We had such glorious weather yesterday - SUN, 58 tops, not a cloud in the sky. DH says that Mannie took advantage of it all. I didn't need to be here - well i wasn't: I was off hiking - to know exactly what he did. Lots of perimeter patrolling, lounging in the grass, rolling in the grass, and once again enjoying his outdoor perch where he can see everything. AND catching lots of rays. He just loves to lay in those sun-rays. What kitty doesn't? When I came home yesterday after my hike Mannie met me at the top of the stairs, with lots of meows. I chose to believe that he was telling me about his day, so I sat with him for a few and listened. :lol: :lol: It really was a ton of fun imagining what he did all day.... And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Kneads too! Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept. Normalcy in MannieLand.

have a great day everyone. Since I played ll day yesterday today is catch-up day: shopping, bills, cleaning, laundry... oh what fun! I can hardly wait.... :roll: :lol: :lol:

Hey everybody! What do you guys wanna do today? Beach? road trip? Skiing? Sledding? dune buggy's? Uhhhhhh.... Super Bowl watching? I am ready for anything. Or maybe we just wanna chill out and drink niptinis, and maybe order more pizza. That sure was good the other day.... let me know! ~~ Mannie

And completely OT: Some photos from my hike yesterday: To Twin Falls, and the John Wane Trail. What an adventure! The falls were great, the JW trail still had snow, which was fine, except that the winds were well over 40 mph, and manged to ice up the snow. SLIPPERY! Fun time though. :-D

Morning Michelle ~O) and wow, what a nice blue AMPS for Mannie this morning! I wonder surely some greens, huh Mannie! Those Twin Falls, and the John Wane Trails pics are beautiful, scenic spots. How far a drive from your house? You have so many gorgeous spots to hike and do adventures with DGS. It sounds like you had a great hike with good weather, too. That's so cute the way Mannie greets you coming home. He's saying I missed you Mom and let's catch up! Have a nice day, Michelle, with the catch up stuff.

Mannie, chillaxin with niptunis and pizza sounds good to me and Super Bowl fuds, especially chicken wingers. Wonder if we could find some nice snow, too, not too cold, and play in the snow. See ya soon, Maggie

Mannie is looking not too shabby this morning, especially after the pink. Don't you just love when they talk to us and expect us to know exactly what they are saying?

Beautiful pictures! How far of a hike did you do? It is wonderful you have such beautiful scenery around you. Makes getting a little exercise so much easier. Have a great day!

Hi Serryn - thanks - it really is pretty there - one of my favorite places. And i do hope you are right - green would be very nice!

Hi Ann - I hope so too - greens would be great. I think his +2 is food, hope so anyways: he has a tendency to do that: spike at +2. well, we shall see. That hike yesterday is about na hours drive - not too bad at all. The river portion is where I take Nicholas alot - it is one of his fav places. Yes, I too love it when they greet us when we come home - :-D :-D

Hi Georgia - yep, that I do - he kept looking at me with that "Got it?" look - of course I nodded - understood all you said Mannie. :-D That hike was about 7.5 miles. And I so agree: with great places it is so easy to just get up and go.

Maggie - cool then - let's do it! oh yes on the chicken wingers! We gots to have them! Hmmmmmm - snow would be fun too - I wonder who has some. Rusty maybe? Nice blue start Mannie. I hope he takes it green today. Maybe yesterday when you got home, he was telling you about a wondrous blue surf that you missed. Yeah, that's it!

Hi Michelle, What a nice trail. Do you have Kahtoola micro spikes? They are great on icy trails. I know that they sell them at REI.

Hi Ella - Thanks for the link. And no, I do not. I really need to get some - If I had those yesterday I probably could have carried on. It got to the point yesterday that there was no walking on that trail without them - even my poles would not penetrate the ice cover. I will check those out. -- and Mannie turned it around!! GO MANSTER! -- ad yes on the chores.... today I will power through them, as I really want to go again tomorrow. These 100% sunny days are a rarity here in the winter, and one mys go when one can!

Looking good Mannie! Beautiful pics, as always Michelle. I can answer your question - Shnookie doesn't like to lay in the sun - course he's all black, so makes sense. He's definitely a shade-dweller. :lol: Oops! There goes Muffin's bowl on the floor - time for breffis #2! :lol:

Nice to see the blue today and looks like you might see some more tonight....just a little wee bounce!!

I'm sure Mannie WAS glad to see you after the hike yesterday. The photos are breathtaking.

Hope you got all your chores done today....yuck that it shoud be chore day on Super Bowl Sunday!
