Happy Caturday!
Johnny has had a fabulous day of sleeping in forts and getting some sun. Last night, he seemed to be feeling amazing. The boy played his little heart out with nary a hiss at his siblings who stopped by to see the show. He may have taken a few cat naps that I didn't see, but he was on the "go" from shot until +3. I love seeing a happy Johnny Cat.
Johnny the Steelers fan (I grew up outside of Pittsburgh) wants to know if there are any Green Bay kitties he can exchange some light-hearted trash talk with. I said I'd check.
On Thursday night, we opened a new vial of insulin. By his numbers, it looked like his shed must have been filling (or exchanging for the good stuff) the first day or so. He saw a nice 77 last night, but then today was flat yellows. So, we're thinking an increase is in order. He typically responds quickly to fresh insulin and this 0.1u doesn't seem to be enough.
Since we're at 0.1u right now, should be just bump up to .25u and see how that goes? Or maybe a fat .25u? We're home to monitor today and tomorrow and back to the grind (AMPS/PMPS/night spot checks on Mon).
Shot is due at 7:30 central time. I can check in a PMPS if that is needed for determining dose.
