The numbers almost seem to be getting higher... slightly (I know, meter variance... but I can sense an uptick). I'm still waiting for his blood work results. I'm wondering how long it takes to get the results back from Michigan State University. They said they ran this type of test on Wednesdays... I kind of figured they'd fax results back to my vet by Thursday since it's not like a culture that takes a long time to grow. What am I looking for? Do the acro / IAA tests give you a numerical value?

Typically the earliest you would hear results is the Friday as that's when they send the info to the vets. It does take a couple days to do the tests. My vet didn't work on Fridays so I had to wait until Sunday when she did work. The IGF-1 results is a number, anything above 92 is positive. IAA gives you a % and anything over 20% is considered positive.

Darcy sure is a stubborn one.
