Missy doesnt seem to want to eat this morning. She had a few licks, but then she just ended up drinking water. I have ketostix ready to test her but she doesnt pee very often. She is walking around a lot and very alert.... not really acting like she doesnt feel well (usually she curls up and sleeps). Seems more like she is being picky. But she wont even eat her favorites which is a bit weird. She has never been DKA.

I realized at +2 she stinks like insulin... must have been a fur shot. Worst day ever for it:spam::(

She just keeps licking the food and drinking water. I even went and got her some chicken thighs and baked them. She sat there at my feet as I cut some up and then just licked it and walked away.
She has been pacing all morning. I syringed her a bit of watery food... she did not like that. But she is hanging around the bowls.

I have some forta flora I will try.. and I have some Dr Elseys chicken dry - but it usually spikes her BG

Test for ketones. Do you have any ondansetron at home?
 
Ive been trying to get her to pee but she wont. I have Ketostix ready at the litterbox. I do not have Ondansetron... onky Pepcid Ac that I used on another kitty.

She just ate about a tablespoon of food with the forta flora....cant believe I forgot about that stuff. Thank you.
 
Ondansetron is for nausea. Pepcid AC for stomach acid.

Are there any higher carb foods she can't resist? You could mix that with LC and see if that will get her to eat.

She loves kibble.
I have a few LC Wet foods that she LOVES, usually, so I use them to mix in with her fancy feast. But she wont even eat those today by itself.
She just had a bit of diarrhea... which is really odd because usually I have to watch her for constipation. So I guess she has an upset tummy.:(

She is laying down now so maybe she will relax for a bit and sleep.
