2/4 BooBoo pmps 162/183 +12.25 225 DO I STILL GIVE THE SHOT?

BooBoo's pmps # is really low and I am wondering if i should still give the shot... I fed and was gonna retest in about 15 to see where we are.

Hi....I am not sure if I have posted in your condo before....so welcome.

This is the lowest ps you have had so you have a few options. You can stall, DON'T feed and retest in 15 minutes to see if the number is rising.
Are you available to monitor tonight? Do you have HC food and plenty of strips?

Yes I can monitor her and I also have Karo, 18% wet food and plenty of strips. I recently changed her dose to .75u because she had been on .5u and was not going down far enough at her nadir. I had her on that dose for about 9 days...

It looks like you are well prepared. If you are comfortable shooting and are able to monitor then it might be a good time to get some data.
If you need help with a low number please post for support.

How much past your regular shot time is the 225. You did not shoot yet right?
If you did not shoot then BooBoo's PMPS would be 225....the number at the time you shoot.

This is an good number---Your cat has been in high numbers & is trying to come down tonite--
Looks like boo boo Nadir is +4-+5--There will still be insulin in her from today (in her shed)

The 225 was about 15 minutes past normal shot time... I gave her a skinny .75u just to be safe...

Nice shooting. If you could get a +1 and +2 that will give you a good idea of where she is going.
I know it is tough to stay up late to get these spot checks.

I will definitely get a +1 and a +2. I am okay with staying up to make sure she is okay... :)

Definitely get +1 & +2, but BOO is trying to get to better numbers the last few days--
Whoo Hooo--Sometimes you do get what you wish for :mrgreen:
